Antia, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over-rule the objection. The Stewards after the last race interviewed Jockey P. Trevor for careless riding on his mount ACKER BILK and having heard him and having viewed the video of the race, were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by him. However, keeping in mind that he had admitted his guilt and apologized for the same, the Stewards took a lenient view and decided to suspend his Jockey’s license for 12th March, 2016 for careless riding. Further, he was warned that on a repetition of a similar offence, severe action would be initiated against him. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of AME and NIZHONI and a report will be submitted shortly.
