DYNAMO (Sk Zaffar Riaz) which was slow to begin ‘hung out’ while negotiating the bend.
Approaching the 700 metres ASTAIRE (Sk Israil) received a check and lost some ground due to the crowding of the field.
When afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount ANBIORN, Jockey C Alford)stated that he was not prominently positioned in the early and middle stages of the race due to the crowding of the field and on entering the straight he opted to choose the inner path of the field for a passage as he expected the field to split open, however, as the field did not split he was hampered for room and thus was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage during the final stages of the race. The Stipendiary Stewards after repeatedly viewing the CCTV replay of the race noted his explanation.
Trainer Mr. Bharath Singh when afforded an opportunity to explain the improved performance of his charge SHOURISHA (A Ashhad Asbar), the winner of this race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 142 stated that he was pleasantly surprised with the victory of the horse and further stated that Race No. 142 which was run over a distance of 1400 metres may have been too soon a race considering that the horse had performed over a distance of 2200 metres in its previous run. Other than this he had no other plausible explanation for its fine and unexpected performance today. The Stipendiary Stewards while noting his explanation informed Mr. Bharath Singh of his responsibility to ensure that his charges run with the deg ree of consistency.

When afforded an opportunity to explain the running of his mount BEYOND EXPECTATION, Jockey Shailesh Shinde stated that he was instructed to place his mount in 3rd/4th position and to do his best thereafter. However, as the pace of the race was not adequately fast enough in the early stages he decided to make his own running and, therefore, set his own pace from the front. In retrospect he should not have allowed his mount to run too freely as he is now aware that he had taken an unduly long lead. The Stipendiary Stewards advised him to be more circumspect in future.
CELTIC KING (Sandeep Rajput) was fractious while being stalled.
MAJOR COLOURS (Surjeet Singh) was fractious in its stall.

FITE OF HONOUR (Imran Chisty) was observed to ‘hang out’ while negotiating the final bend.
