Approaching the 600 metres, SONIC BOOM (S. A. Amit) shifted out thereby tightening and inconveniencing ETOILE (Dashrath Singh). Jockey S. A. Amit has been cautioned. ATOMIC ANGEL (S. G. Prasad) was observed to have been erratic throughout the race. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race. The Equine Hospital reported that ETOILE was found to have sore – right eye.

At the request of Trainer Nosher Cama, AXLROD was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 07.30 p.m. on 31/08/2023 at the stables and was found to have colic, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. On the arrival at the start, at the request of Jockey P. Trevor, THE GODFATHER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V. O. who certified him fit to race. Passing the 300 metres, CHENEVIX TRENCH (Neeraj Rawal) was held up for room, thereafter in the final stages of the race CHENEVIX TRENCH shifted out under urgings and went across KOENIG (K. Nazil) causing the latter to be checked. After questioning, Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been fined Rs.3,000/-. At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards THE GODFATHER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at the Equine Hospital and was diagnosed to have EIPH (Gr.III). The colt is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. After the race, THE GODFATHER was observed to have lost its left fore shoe.

MAJESTIC WARRIOR (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.7) jumped inwards and went onto NOLAN (Vivek G., dr.6) who was inclined outwards due to the incident NOLAN shifted in and made contact with INISHMORE (C. S. Jodha, dr.5). After the race, GENEROSITY was found to be sore by left fore. The filly has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. After the race, MAJESTIC WARRIOR was found to have gum injury, BELLAGIO was trotted and found to be sound and FIERY RED was observed to have lost its right fore shoe. After the race, NOLAN was trotted at the stables on 06/09/2023 and found to be sound.

At the request of Trainer S. S. Attaollahi, PISSARRO was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 07.00 p.m. on 04/09/2023 at the stables and was found to have colic, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. On entering the straight, KING’S RANSOM (P. S. Chouhan) was held up for room until passing the 250 metres. After the race, SOUZA was trotted and found to be sound.

TAIMUR (Bhawani Singh, dr.1) jumped out slowly losing about a length at the start. Approaching the 350 metres, CHOPIN (Neeraj Rawal) leaned inwards thereby inconveniencing SUCCESSOR (P. Trevor). Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned. After the race, FLYING VISIT was examined at the stables and found to be sore by right fore. The gelding has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race. After the race, TAIMUR, ASHWA YUDHVIR and PRIDE’S ANGEL were trotted and found to be sound. The Equine Hospital reported that ASHWA YUDHVIR was found to have sore right eye with mild ulcer.

GALLOPING GLORY (Bhawani Singh, dr.8) was reluctant to stall thereafter planted taking no practical part in the race. Trainer Vinesh has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter, before next accepting to race. COME BACK PLEASE (App. N. Bhosale, dr.4) and ESFIR (App. Haridas Gore, dr.2) jumped out slowly losing about 4 lengths each at the start. Passing 500 metres, MYRCELLA (T. S. Jodha) shifted out thereby tightening and inconveniencing SPECULATOR (S. Zervan). Jockey T. S. Jodha has been severely reprimanded. After the race, COME BACK PLEASE was trotted and found to be sound.
