Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Krishna P to withdrawWESTERN GIRL (Shamaz Shareef) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right hind and stiff on hind quarters. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. Praveen Jesu was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge. Jockey N Ramesh Kumar, the rider of CONTINUES was questioned by the Stipendiary Stewards in the presence of Trainer Mr. Dhyan Subbaiah (deputising for Trainer Mr. Somashekar K) for riding in an inept manner. After repeatedly viewing all the angles of the CCTV footage of the race in question and hearing the explanations tendered by Jockey N Ramesh Kumar, the Stipendiary Stewards strongly felt that Jockey N Ramesh Kumar needs to improve his riding skills. Thereafter, the Stipendiary Stewards decided as follows; i) To inform Jockey N Ramesh Kumar not to accept any rides in Races with immediate effect till the end of the Mysore Monsoon Races 2026. ii) Further, Jockey N Ramesh Kumar wasinformed to rectify all deficiencies in his riding skills during this period and make every effort to improve the same; iii) He shall be required to participate in and successfully ride in Two Mock Racesto the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before being considered for the grant of permission to accept rides in Races. iv)To note the explanations tendered by Trainer Mr. Dhyan Subbaiah (deputising for Trainer Mr. Somashekar K) for future reference. Jockey Anil Baandal, the rider of AR SPRINT QUEEN was reprimanded for shifting ‘in’ and inconveniencing horses on his inside, viz; DONCASTER BELLE (S.Antony Raj) and LASYA (Vinod Shinde) approaching 1000 Metres. Jockey R Rakesh, the rider of NATURAL LIGHT was reprimanded for travelling wide from the 800 Metres till about the 600 Metres, for no apparent reason. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of TIGERKING, trained by Mr. Mandanna K S and ridden by Jockey K Sai Kiran in the above race. It was observed that ANKUSH (Siddaraju.P) brushed the running rails approaching 1000 Metres. Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of WALTER was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to SHEER ELEGANCE (S Sachin) on his inside approaching 200 Metres. SHEER ELEGANCE (S.Sachin) sustained cut injury above right hock. STRIKING VIKING (Vinod Shinde) sustained cut injury on left hind outer cannon.
