KINGOFTHEJUNGLE (M Rajesh Kumar) jumped out awkwardly at the start thereby inconveniencing COPPER SUNRISE (Angad), on its outside and thereafter veered out to the left, due to which the rider lost his right stirrup, which he regained nearing 700 metres. BIOMETRIC (Shamaz Shareef) accidentally stumbled passing 1100 metres. It was reported after the Race that BEAT THE ODDS (R Shiva Kumar) pulled up lame on right fore. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the Race Track. Jockey Salman Khan, the rider of INFINITE GRACE was reprimanded for shifting `out’ and causing intereference to SWISS TIGRESS (M Rajesh Kumar) on his outside passing 1200 metres. MORGANITE (Afsar Khan) accidentally stumbled passing the 200 Metres. INFINITE GRACE (Salman Khan) sustained bruise above right hind hock.

As Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider of HEROISM, failed the pre-race breathalyzer test, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey Shreyas Singh to ride HEROISM, in place of Jockey Arshad Alam, the declared rider. GHYAMA (Inayat) dropped the rider, bolted and ran around the course rider-less. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders. Jockey Vinod Shinde the rider of ACHOOK, could not get a clear run between th 300 Metres and the 150 Metres, due to tightly packed field. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey, Arshad Alam, the rider of HEROISM, to the Stewards for breach of Rule No. 101 (iii) read with Calendar Notification of the Racing Calendar of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., Rules of Racing, under the heading “ALCOHOL TESTING FOR RIDERS”, in that, he failed the pre-race Breathalyzer Test [33 mg/100 ml as against the prescribed threshold limit of 30 mg/100 ml]. the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the last Race and examined Jockey Arshad Alam. After due enquiry, the Stewards decided to suspend the Jockey’s License granted to Jockey Arshad Alam from 08-10-2023 to 13-10-2023 [both days inclusive, for breach of Rule No. 101 (iii) read with Calendar Notification of the Racing Calendar of the Mysore Race Club Rules of Racing, under the heading “ALCOHOL TESTING FOR RIDERS”. Jockey Arshad Alam was informed that he can ride work and was also informed of his right to appeal. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch m ASHTAR. The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., considered the analytical report received from QuantiLab, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from ch m ASHTAR (owned by Mr. Hooshang Pashotan and trained by Mr. G T Surender) which had shown the presence of FLUNIXIN [Class IV] – a Prohibited Substance – the sample of which was taken after the said horse won the above race. The Stewards noted the following: The Trainer was informed of this and was given the option of sending the split sample of the urine of the said horse for confirmatory analysis. The Trainer vide his letter dated 3rd November, 2023 has informed the Club that he did not wish to send the “B” Sample for Confirmatory analysis. Therefore the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse ch m ASHTAR, from the above race and revised the order of the placing as under: VIJAYA FALCON I ACHOOK II HEROISM III JEWEL THIEF IV VIVA LA VIDA V

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to withdraw D DON KING (Brahmmesh S) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be suffering from prepucial inflammation. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Abhishek Mhatre, the rider of MANY MOONS was reprimanded for shifting `in’ before the Red Marker Post. Jockey S Hussain, the rider of BENIGNITY, was reprimanded for shifting `in’ and inconveniencing JERSEY LEGEND (Arvind Kumar N), on his inside, within 100 Metres of the start and thereafter, for shifting `in’ further and inconveniencing SOLO PRINCE (L Alex Rozario), on his inside, approaching the 1000 Metres. It was observed that WAR TRAIL (Inayat) was running erratic rounding the bend and after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Santosh Rao S [deputizing on behalf of Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar] was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Kishan Thomas to withdraw PHOENIX SURPRISE (Arvind Kumar N) from the above Race as it got injured [lacerated wound on upper lip], while being loaded to the horse float for travel to Mysuru. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. COORG GENERAL (B Darshan Anthony) jumped awkwardly `outwards’ at the start. Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of OMBUDSMAN was reprimanded for shifting `out’ and inconveniencing MARCH TO VICTORY (Ram Nandan Manji) on his outside between the 350 metres and the 250 metres. Jockey Ram Nandan Manji, the rider of MARCH TO VICTORY was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race.
