An enquiry is being held into the relative performance of SWISS PEARL (trained by Mr. Vikram Appachu and ridden by Jockey K Raghu), the winner of the above Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No. 60 of the Mysore Winter Races 2018-19, i.e., The Vidhatri Motors Cup (About) 1200 Metres, for horses rated 60 and above, run on Ninth Day, Thursday, 17th January, 2019, when ridden by Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, it ran unplaced. SIMON SAYS (N Rajesh) planted and took no part in the Race; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Prashanth Pawar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on Race Days on the race track. Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of WARLOCK, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and was reported to have sharp molars. Hence Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs. 3,000/- for his negligence [1ST Infringement]. Jockey G Sai Vamshi, the rider of SEA LAGOON, was questioned in the presence of Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan, as to the handling of his mount in the above Race. He was informed that since he won the Race, no action was taken but for which he would have been reported to the Stewards for appropriate action.
