Jockey Praveen Saini, the rider of CHANDINI, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort to improve his position between the 1400 Metres till about the 600 Metres, of the above Race. Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was questioned regarding the relatively improved performance of his charge NAVAL GLORY( Syed Waseemuddin), the winner of the above Race as compared to its previous run in Race No. 65 of the Mysore Summer Races 2017, i.e., The Paschimvahini Plate (About) 1600 Metres for horses rated 60 and above, run on Ninth Day, Tuesday, 18th July, 2017, when ridden by Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, it ran unplaced. He stated as follows; a) His charge was a very consistent runner this season, having won two races and finished fourth in another Race; b) It had run similarly in its previous run, but as it got very keen, the rider had not been able to keep it back and it fizzled out in the Straight; c) He had got a drop of two points and utilised a four Kg allowance Jockey and was ideally placed in handicap; d) None of the runners in the above Race, barring EXTRA SPARK and CASTLE KING had run a Mile and Quarter Race before and going by the handicap, he thought that his charge may run a good Race, but did not expect it to win the Race. While noting his explanations, he was cautioned to maintain consistency in the running of his charges in future. NEW WORLD (R Ajay Kumar) sustained deep injury on left hind hock and clipped injury on right hind fetlock. MARKUS SITTIKUS (P Kiran Rai) sustained cut injury on left fore outer cannon.

AL DAHMA (J Paswan) jumped awkwardly 'outwards' at the start. AMERICANO (S R Santosh Kumar) did not raise a fluent gallop soon after jumping out of the starting Gates thereby losing few lengths at the start and thereafter, ran detached from the field; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey R Anand, the rider of DURER, was fined a sum of Rs.2,000/- for travelling wide, rounding the final bend for no apparent reason, and also, for the inept handling of his mount during the Race. WYLDE (P P Dhebe) was observed to be running green in the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. Jockey Praveen Saini, the rider of ALWAYS UNITED, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [first infringement]. Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of JOEY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [first infringement]. EREBUS (S John) sustained cut injury below right hind hock. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g JOEY.

GRACE AND GLORY (Nitin Singh) jumped awkwardly 'outwards' at the start. Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of JERSEY BRIDE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not being alert at the Start and for not making effort to attain an advantageous position, during the early part of the Race. Jockey P Surya, the rider of RUN TO WIN, was reprimanded for repeatedly looking back between the 900 Metres and the 800 Metres for no apparent reason. Jockey P Surya, the rider of RUN TO WIN, reported that his whip got entangled in the reins and as such, he could not make use of it, passing the 350 Metres. Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of CACTUS CASH, reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported; However, Trainer Mr. B K Narendra was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that RUN TO WIN (P Surya) pulled up lame on left hind; Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. An enquiry is being held into the riding of Jockey R Anand on his mount BOLD NATURE, trained by Mr. Vikram Appachu, in the above Race. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan to withdraw STAR STYLE (Sai Kiran). As Jockey L Prashant, the declared rider of COUNTRY'S PRINCESS, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Third Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan to substitute Jockey S G Prasad to ride COUNTRY'S PRINCESS in place of the declared rider. HIMALAYA (M Abhilash) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', whereby, the Jockey lost his left stirrup, which, he regained within a few strides. ALECIA (M Madhu Babu) jumped awkwardly 'outwards' at the start and stumbled, passing the 1100 Metres and again passing the 900 Metres. Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of ASCENDENCY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to BRAVE ADMIRAL (Anil Baandal) on his inside, between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres. Jockey S John, the rider of BROWN BEAUTY, was reprimanded for the undesirable practice of easing his mount, in the last few strides of the Race. Jockey P Sai Kumar, the rider of ATLANTIS, was fined Rs.5,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [second infringement]. Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of ASCENDENCY, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [first infringement]. Jockey M B Qureshi, the rider of ARIZONA SUN, reported that his saddle shifted soon after the start, whereby, he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount thereafter; After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. M Bobby was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence. It was reported after the Race that ARIZONA SUN (M B Qureshi) burst its blood vessels; Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that AYRA'S DELIGHT (Praveen Saini) pulled up lame on right hind and on subsequent examination, it was diagnosed to have sustained the fracture of both sesamoids of right hind leg; subsequently it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds. It was reported after the Race that the right fore shoe of OCEANIC STORM (Sameer Qureshi) had apparently come off during the Race. It was also reported to have sustained injury on ventral abdomen. An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Sameer Qureshi on his mount, OCEANIC STORM, trained by Mr. Rakesh, in the above Race. ATLANTIS (P Sai Kumar) sustained cut inside left hind hock.

POWER OF GOD (Saddam Hussain) was extremely fractious at the Gates and refused to be stalled; Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter's Orders. Jockey P Trevor, the rider of AUTOCRATIC, was reprimanded for shifting 'out' and inconveniencing LORD BUCKINGHAM (Irvan Singh) on the outside, which, in turn, went onto SADEEK (P Sai Kumar), passing the 300 Metres. DEODAR (Sai Kiran) ran detached from the field; Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. Jockey S John, the rider of ASCENDENT, reported that the saddle shifted back, passing the 800 Metres, whereupon, he could not offer much assistance to his mount, thereafter; After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence. It was reported after the Race that AUTOCRATIC (P Trevor) had apparently lost its fore shoe during the Race and was also reported to have pulled up lame on right fore; Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde [deputizing for Trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi] was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. STELLA MARI (Afsar Khan) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start; In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. B K Narendra [deputizing for Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao] was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. SILVER WOOD (Irvan Singh) was slowly away and lost a few lengths and, thereafter, galloped in patches. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Jump Out on the Starting Gates Practice Day. COUNTER POINT (Shobhan Babu) suddenly slowed down due to which PRECIOUS ASSET (Anil Baandal), which was galloping fiercely directly behind, had to be checked by its rider and shift 'out', thereby, inconveniencing SILVER WOOD (Irvan Singh) on its outside, passing the 700 Metres. It was observed that GO MAN GO (M Rajesh Kumar) was not galloping fluently throughout the Race; The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. ROYAL GLEN (Nitni Singh) was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. It was reported after the Race that ROBINHOOD PANDEY (S G Prasad) pulled up lame on right fore; Trainer Mr. G Srinivas Babu was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. COUNTER POINT (Shobhan Babu) sustained clipped heels on right hind medial bulb. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch m HERE'S ABBEY.

Jockey S John, the rider of ACE FORCE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to BEAUTIFUL EFFECT (Ajeet Kumar) on his inside, which, in turn, went onto MALKIA (M Rajesh Kumar), on its inside, approaching the 1200 Metres. Jockey Muzammil Hashmi, the rider of ACCURACY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for travelling wide, rounding the final bend, for no apparent Reason. SPINNING CHAKRAM (Janardhan Paswan) sustained cut on right hind below hock. SUFFICIENT PROOF (Irvan Singh) sustained small cut on right hind tendon region.
