ARRETE (S Chethan Kalay) sustained bleeding cut on right stifle. RARE AND ELLUSIVE (V R Jagdeesh) sustained cut over right fore fetlock and multiple bleeding cuts inside right hock.

As Jockey Ahsan Qureshi, the declared rider of CAPRI, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi to substitute Jockey M Prabhakaran to ride CAPRI in place of the declared rider. Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of PRECIOUS REPLICA, placed Fourth by the Judge, lodged objections against Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of UNGOOGLEABLE, placed First by the Judge, and also, against Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of CAPRI, placed Second by the Judge, for “ (a) inside the last 100 Metres, Arshad Alam, on the winner, came out suddenly and bumped me, thereby, I had to check my mount, and (b) while I was recovering ground, CAPRI came in badly from the outside and hampered my run”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After due deliberations, they decided to overrule the objections. An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding of Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of UNGOOGLEABLE, trained by Mr. G Sandhu, in the above Race. SHREWD MASTER (P Trevor) sustained small cut on left hind inside fetlock.

Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of ALEXANDRA MILLS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [first infringement]. It was reported after the Race that ROYAL SALUTE (A Imran Khan) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. G T Surender was fined Rs.1,000/- for not using Tongue Strap on his charge, STRIVE AND SERVE (Ajeet Kumar) for the use of which, prior permission had been obtained. Subsequently, Tongue Strap was put on the horse, before it left the Paddock. Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of CYCLOPS, reported that he accidentally dropped the whip in the last 100 Metres of the Race. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of ACTIVE GREY, trained by Mr. V Narayana Gowda [deputized by Trainer Mr. P C Tejaswi] and ridden by Jockey M Rajesh Kumar in the above Race. ACTIVE GREY (M Rajesh Kumar) sustained bleeding bruise in plantar fetlock of right hind. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g CYCLOPS. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch h VIKTOR.

FELIX LEGION (A Imran Khan) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', thereby, inconveniencing NERON (M Rajesh Kumar) and BEAUTIFUL LIFE (S Chaethan Kalay) on its outside, soon after the start. Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. BEAUTIFUL LIFE (S Chethan Kalay) ran detached from the field after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m TEMPEST.
