VICTORY GIRL (A Ramu) dislodged the rider on the way to the Starting Gates and ran around rider-less. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under the Starter's Orders. STAR OF DESIRE (J H Christopher) jumped awkwardly outwards, thereby, inconveniencing TIC TAC TOE (M Prabhakaran) on its outside, soon after the start. YOURESCINTILATING (M Prasad) jumped 'out' awkwardly, did not raise a fluent gallop, thereby, losing many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. J Babu Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. TIC TAC TOE (M Prabhakaran) could not get a clear run during the early part of the race due to a closely packed field. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of FASHION FLAME, trained by Mr. M P Mahaesh and ridden by Jockey Vivek, in the above Race. ENCOURAGER (Afsar Khan) broke down during the Race. On vetrerinary examination, it was observed to have sustained fracture of left hind cannon and hence, it was euthanized. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g SAMAJDAAR.

As Jockey S John, the declared rider of SNOW ANGEL, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. K Somashekar to substitute Jockey J H Christopher to ride SNOW ANGEL in place of the declared rider. LAKE PARADISE (C Harish) was slowly away and lost a few lengths at the start. Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of SUNDAY CRUZ was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to NEW VICTOR (Melvyn Maseyk) on his inside, at the start. Jockey A Ramu, the rider of ORDERED STEPS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly looking back in the straight for no apparent reason and for exulting before passing the Winning Post. An enquiry is being held into the excessive use of the whip by Jockey A Ramu on his mount, ORDERED STEPS, in the above Race [fourth infringement]. SUNDAY CRUZ (P Kiran Rai) sustained injury on left hind cannon. AERO STAR (Saddam Hussain) sustained large wound above right hock. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey D Gnaneshwar to ride ALWAYS ON TOP in place of Jockey S John, the declared rider. SHREWD MASTER (J H Christopher) reared up as the Gates opened, did not raise a fluent gallop for some time and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. G Aravind was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the rider of CINCH, reported that soon after the start, the cup of the left side of blinkers of his mount got unfastened. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. G Nityanand was fined Rs.3,000/-for using an unserviceable equipment. Jockey A Ramu, the rider of LAD LADY, reported that his mount accidentally clipped the right hind heels of ALWAYS ON TOP (D Gnaneshwar), approaching the 400 Metres, whereby his mount stumbled and he was unbalanced and as a result, he momentarily lost his reins, which, he regained within a few strides. Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of SON OF STARS, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but, no abnormality was reported. Trainer Mr. Rajesh Narredu [deputizing for Trainer Mr. S Narredu] was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that BREEZO (Dharmendar) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. MADDOX (V R Jagdeesh) sustained cut injury on right hind pastern. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch c ACCURACY.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Narredu to withdraw WOODSTREAM on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on left fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. An enquiry is being held into the incident pertaining to Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of LAGOONA, jumping out of the starting gates with both his legs out of the stirrup and completing the course as such, throughout the Race.
