AJ ONE (P S Chouhan) jumped awkwardly 'outwards', thereby inconveniencing NOUGHTSANDCROSSES (Janardhan Paswan), soon after the start. Jockey P S Chouhan, the rider of AJ ONE, was questioned as to the handling of his mount especially at the closing stages of the Race. The rider stated that (a) his mount jumped awkwardly outwards, thereby losing some ground at the start; (b) he gradually improved and obtained a good position thereafter;(c) after rounding the final bend, he improved and took over the running; (d) in the final stages of the race, his mount was too tired as he was at it throughout the race; (e) at the last 2 or 3 strides, it did not give him that much of leverage to stretch his arms;and (f) he rode out to the best of his ability but lost the race narrowly. While noting his explanations, he was informed to be more judicious in future. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g ARUN.

As Jockey S Mubarak, the declared rider of SWEET TODDY, was certified medically unfit to ride and no suitable substitute rider was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to withdraw SWEET TODDY, from the above Race. VROOM VROOM (Ajeet Kumar) was observed to be hanging 'in', after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported by the Club's Veterinary Officer. However, Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. LADY CHARMER (A Vishwanath) sustained small cuts on right hind pastern region. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch f COUNTRY'S BEAUTY.

Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of INDIAN ROYALTY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [first infringement]. LAKE PARADISE (C Harish) sustained clipped injury on left fore medial bulb. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b g INDIAN ROYALTY.

ZAGATO (P Kiran Rai) was extremely fractious inside the Gates and refused to remain in the Stall. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders. LUCKY THIRTEEN (S Chethan Kalay) refused to raise a fluent gallop after jumping out of the Starting Gate, thereby, losing many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. V Narayana Gowda was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of SILVER OAK, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to MY FAVOURITE VOICE (Afsar Khan) on his inside, approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of COUNTRY'S NOBILITY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to SILVER OAK (Melvyn Maseyk) on his outside, passing the 1100 Metres. Jockey Nassar Alam, the rider of BEAUTIFUL EFFECT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to SILVER OAK (Melvyn Maseyk) on his inside, passing the 1100 Metres. Jockey Md. Sameer, the rider of BLACK DRAGON, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to COUNTRY'S NOBILITY (Shobhan Babu), on his outside, approaching 1000 Metres. SON OF STARS (P S Chouhan) sustained cut over left hock joint. SILVER OAK (Melvyn Maseyk) sustained gum injury.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V Lokanath to withdraw TALISKER (A Ramu) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have sustained bleeding cut injuries on left hind fetlock and right hind pastern while being loaded into the float for travel to Mysore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. LAD STAR (Arshad Alam) could not get a clear run approaching the 1200 Metres due to the crowding of the field. Jockey B L Naveen, the rider of EMERGING STAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to FRENEMEE (P Kiran Rai) on his outside, whereby, FRENEMEE (P Kiran Rai) had to be checked by its rider, thereby, losing position, passing the 900 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g WIND WONDER.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah to withdraw EVEREST (Arshad Alam) on veterinary grounds as it was observed to be trotting lame on right fore due to inflamed tendon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. GOLDEN CRUISE (Shobhan Babu) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced SPONTANEOUS (P Kiran Rai) on its inside at the Start. REPUBLICAN STAR (J H Christopher), veered 'out' very badly after jumping 'out' of the Starting Gate, lost many lengths, was running very erratic, whereby, it started shifting 'out' further to the outer portion of the grass track despite the efforts of the rider, and, in the process, inconvenienced POWER OF TIME (A Ramu) and also, AMANDA (B L Naveen), approaching the 200 Metres. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. G Aravind [deputizing for Trainer Mr. S Ganapathy] was informed to once again get it checked by his Veterinarian, take appropriate corrective measures and not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey Melvyn Maseyk, the rider of FELLOWSHIP, reported that he lost his whip at the Gates. It was reported after the Race that FELLOWSHIP (Melvyn Maseyk) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that TAKE OFF (Vijay Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. HAUTE ECOLE (Janardhan Paswan) sustained cut on right fore coronet. REPUBLICAN STAR (J H Christopher) sustained cut on back of right hind fetlock.

Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of STARSTRUCK, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [second infringement]. ENSATUS ELEGANS (Shobhan Babu) sustained small cuts on right fore outer fetlock.
