BEST MOVE (Dharmendar) sustained cut injury over left hind coronet. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g HARD TO PIN DOWN.

Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancies in shoeing in respect of his charge, BREAK ON THRU (L Prashant) [first infringement]. FELLOWSHIP (Melvyn Maseyk) was very fractious, refused to stay in the Stalls, bolted and ran round the course rider-less. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Order. CADOGAN (V R Jagdeesh) reared up as the Gates opened and lost a few lengths at the start. Jockey P Kiran Rai, the rider of PROM QUEEN, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly checking his mount during back stretch, for no apparent reason. In view of its behaviour, Trainer P Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day. Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of STRIKE THE STARS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to NEXT MOVE (A Ramu) on his inside, approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey A Ramu, the rider of NEXT MOVE, was fined Rs.3,000/- for taking out AMAZING REDD (S John) on his outside, between the 700 and 500 Metres and thereafter, for taking out AUMENTO (M Noornabi), on his outside, rounding the final bend. CZAR OF ROMANCE (P S Chouhan) was slowly away and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S Dominic was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. DUMA (Y S Srinath) could not get a clear run, soon after the start, due to the crowding of the field. DUMA (Y S Srinath) sustained bruises on either side of chest wall. It was reported after the Race that the left fore shoe of SUPER STORM (Saddam Hussain) had apparently come off, during the Race. RAAGA (S Chethan Kalay) jumped awkwardly outwards, soon after the start. SUPER SALONI (Afsar Khan) jumped awkwardly inwards, thereby inconveniencing STAR HEIGHTS ( G Adarsh), soon after the start. DELILAH (A Ramu), jumped awkwardly outwards and MYSTICAL SHADOW (P Kiran Rai), jumped awkwardly inwards and accidentally bumped into each other, soon after the start. FOREST TERN (J H Christopher) drifted 'out' very badly in the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported by the Club's Veterinary Officer. However, Trainer Mr. Aravind G was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g FOREST TERN.

As Jockey Y S Srinath, the declared rider of FLASH TIME, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Seventh Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath to substitute Jockey S John to ride FLASH TIME in place of the declared rider. Trainer Mr. C Girinath was fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, BOURBON STREET (S Mubarak). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. ENSATUS ELEGANS (Nassar Alam), reared up as the gates opened. Jockey Nassar Alam, the rider of ENSATUS ELEGANS, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported by the Club's Veterinary Officer. However, Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. The Cheek Piece on the left side on ALABAMA (Melvyn Maseyk) got unfastened during the race and came off after entering the straight. Trainer Mr. Md. Sajid Qureshi was fined Rs.1,000/- for apparently not fastening the same properly. BOURBON STREET (S Mubarak) sustained cut in right nostril. BRILLANTE (Shivnath Paswan) sustained injury on left hind cannon.
