Jockey T S Jodha, the rider of TOUCH OF ROMANCE, was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing BEAUTIFUL EFFECT (S. Selvaraj) in the final 100 Metres of the race. Jockey Shivnath Paswan, the rider of PHELALEE, was reprimanded for riding an indifferent Race. BEAUTIFUL EFFECT (S Selvaraj) sustained cut over left nostril.

As Jockey V R Jagdeesh, the declared rider of BRILLANTE, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the Second Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey D Gnaneshwar to ride BRILLANTE in place of the declared rider. As Jockey Saddam Hussian, the declared rider of SUPREME STRENGTH, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to substitute Jockey Arshad Alam to ride SUPREME STRENGTH in place of the declared rider. It was reported after the Race that BORN TO PERFORM (S R Santosh Kumar) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. On a complaint made by Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi, an enquiry is being held into riding of Jockey Vivek on his mount TAKE OFF in the above race. Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge, SILVER SCEPTRE (N Ramesh Kumar) [first infringement]. BORN FOR BEAUTY (M Prabhakaran) sustained cut on right fore cannon. KNOWLEDGE (A Vishwanath) sustained cut injuries on right hind pastern. The Stewards of the Mysore Race Club Ltd., considered the analytical report received from Equine Forensic Unit Dubai, pertaining to the analysis of the urine sample taken from b m BORN FOR BEAUTY (Trained by Mr. J Sharavanan) which had shown the presence of Hydroxy – Lignocaine (prohibited substance) – the sample of which was taken after the said horse was placed First in the above Race. The Stewards noted the following: The Trainer vide his letter dated 27th January requested the split sample of the urine of the said horse be sent to the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques, France for confirmatory analysis. Accordingly, the split sample of the urine of the horse was sent to the said laboratory for confirmatory analysis. The Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques, France, vide its report dated 10th February 2014, received by us on the 13th February 2014, confirmed the presence of the drug Hydroxy – Lidocaine in the split urine sample of the horse b m BORN FOR BEAUTY. The above result has been communicated to the Trainer concerned. Therefore the Stewards decided to disqualify the horse from the above Race and revise the order of the placings as under: GETAFIX I TIME FLIES II HAPPINESS III GROUND MARSHAL IV EMERALD V

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to substitute Jockey R Vaibhav to ride JALDI in place of the declared rider. JALDI (R Vaibhav) jumped out awkwardly from the Starting Gates. Jockey M A Roushan, the rider of SHARP GIRL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming 'in' and causing interference to SHUBKAMNA (Shivnath Paswan) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres. Jockey M A Roushan, the rider of SHARP GIRL, was reprimanded for shifting 'out' and inconveniencing SHUBKAMNA (Shivnath Paswan), on his outside approaching the 500 Metres. Jockey N Ramesh Kumar, the rider of PEPPR, was reprimanded for travelling wide, rounding the final bend, for no apparent reason. Jockey Shivnath Paswan, the rider of TUSKER, was reprimanded for shifting 'out' and inconveniencing ESOTERICAL (A Vishwanath) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey M.A. Milan, the rider of CALDERA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ESOTERICAL (A Vishwanath) on his inside approaching the 1000 Metres. It was reported after the Race that WINTER WIND (Shiva Kumar) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that AANCHAL BEAUTY (Nassar Alam) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that SHUDDERING (Md. Kareem) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Pratap Kamath to substitute Jockey R Vaibhav to ride MIYARSPRINCESS in place of the declared rider. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to substitute Jockey N Ramesh Kumar to ride MIDTOWN MAGIC in place of the declared rider. AZURE FIRE (M Madhu Babu) jumped awkwardly outwards from the Starting Gates. Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the rider of YAKEEN, was fined Rs.3,000/- for coming 'in' and causing severe interference to SKY HIGH (Arshad Alam), which, in turn, passed it onto REBECCA (T S Jodha) along the rails, approaching the 1000 Metres.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to substitute Jockey R Vaibhav to ride TRIPLE VICTORY in place of the declared rider. Jockey T.S. Jodha, the rider of BEYOND THANKFUL, reported that he could not get a clear run passing the 1100 Metres due to a closely packed field. Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of BLACK DRAGON, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
