As Jockey P Kiran Rai, the declared rider of VICTORY SIGNAL, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 5th Race and as no suitable substitute Jockey was available, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to withdraw VICTORY SIGNAL from the above race. As Jockey Vijay Kumar, the declared rider of RISING QUEEN, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 6th Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa to substitute Jockey Shivnath Paswan to ride RISING QUEEN in place of Jockey Vijay Kumar, the declared rider. Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the rider of GUNPOWDER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for repeatedly changing course and causing interference to WORDS OF WISDOM (S John), on his inside, between the 1100 Metres and 800 Metres. Jockey F F Da Silva, the rider of GUAPO, was fined Rs.2,000/- for repeatedly changing course, thereby, causing interference to HISTORICA (Y S Srinath), on his outside in the final 200 Metres of the race. RISING QUEEN (Shivnath Paswan) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was advised to ensure better performance of his charge in future. UNCHALLENGED (A R Pradeep) drifted 'out' under pressure and shifted onto the outer sand track in the final 50 Metres of the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination, but no abnormality was reported. However Trainer Mr. C.D.
