Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of SMALL CRUISE, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course, thereby taking out SWEET ANGEL (Imran Chisty) on his outside, rounding the final bend. Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of SWEET ANGEL, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race [first infringement]. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b m SWEET ANGEL. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b f BELLE ETOILE.

Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji (deputised by trainer Mr. Bipin Salvi) was informed that he had been fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge WIND SURFER (Imran Chisty) in the above race [first infringement]. BALDOMERO (Shivnath Paswan) was slowly away, lost a few lengths at the start and ran detached from the field thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day. Jockey R Anand, the rider of WINNING STORY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to the horses on his inside, viz., KENTUCKY ROSE (M Prabhakaran) and SMART MISTRAL (Shiva Kumar), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. Jockey Shiva Kumar, the rider of SMART MISTRAL, was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing WIND SURFER (Imran Chisty), on his inside, rounding the final bend. Jockey M Prabhakaran, the rider of KENTUCKY ROSE, was reprimanded for shifting 'in' and inconveniencing WIND SURFER (Imran Chisty), on his inside, in the final 200 Metres of the Race.

WINDSOR PARK (S K Paswan), planted and did not take part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Pradeep Annaiah was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of BOUNTY HUNTER, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to SARATOGA SPRING (Suraj Narredu), on his outside, passing the 300 Metres. Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the rider of BROWNIE, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to BOUNTY HUNTER (J H Christopher), on his outside, which, in turn, passed it onto SARATOGA SPRING (Suraj Narredu), approaching the 200 Metres. Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of THE GENTLE DON, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post. BORN TO PERFORM (P Kiran Rai) sustained bruise on left chest wall behind girth. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b h BROWNIE.

BUCETHALIS (N Tauseef Ahmed) was extremely fractious and refused to remain in the stalls. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter's Orders. AMAZING REDD (Irvan Singh) jumped awkwardly 'outwards' and inconvenienced ATHLETIC STAR (R Anand) on its outside soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. Jockey R Anand, the rider of ATHLETIC STAR, was fined Rs.1,000/- for travelling wide, rounding the final bend, for no apparent reason. Jockey Sarvan Kumar, the rider of CASTLE KING, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to SCHOLAR (Himanshu),on his inside, approaching the 1200 Metres. It was reported after the Race that LAD KING (P Mani) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Warren Singh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer of the Club before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that the left hind shoe of AMAZING REDD (Irvan Singh) had apparently come off during the Race.

So the order of placings were revised as under :- Grand Success - Win Yamas - 2nd Mom In Law - 3rd Time Flies - 4th

Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was fined Rs.1,000/- for not using Tongue Strap on his charge, ACE HIGH (J Paswan), for the use of which prior permission had already been obtained. Subsequently, Tongue Strap was put before the horse left the Paddock. GAYLE'S STORM (Shivnath Paswan), planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey Md. Sameer, the rider of BLACK DRAGON, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post. Jockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of ENDURING SPEED, was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the Winning Post. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b f GALAXY QUEEN. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, ch g ENDURING SPEED. Trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa and Jockey S. John were questioned regarding the running and riding of GALAXY QUEEN in the above race. The Trainer stated that (a) he told the Jockey to take a good jump and sit 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th position and be up in the field as the horse has the habit of drifting out; (b) he had told the Jockey to control his mount and ride her out in the straight; (c) He also stated that this horse had worked very well and she had beaten the best horse in his stable during work out; (d) he stated that this horse had the habit of drifting out in the straight and the saddle had shifted once or twice in the small season and that is the reason he used breast belt on her and she won the race; and (e) the way it had performed and considering the present set he thought that she would win and because of that he chose to go with a good rider. The Jockey corroborated the statement of the trainer and stated that he did his best to ride out his mount from the word ‘go’. He stated that he was all the way pushing her and by the time she came up to the field, the field was covered up and he did not get anything out of her. He also stated that she changed her legs 2 to 3 times as she was tired. Trainer Mr. C.D. Monnappa was informed to keep the horse for further veterinary observation.
