LADY MANDY (Sahanawaz) planted and did not take part in the Race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in Two Mock Races on Race Days on the race track. VRAJANANDAN (G Y Rajesh Babu) planted, lost many lengths at the start and ran detached thereafter. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in One Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Jockey P.S.Chouhan, the rider of WELL KNOWN, reported that he could not get a clear run, approaching the 1200 Metres due to a closely packed field.

INDIAN PRIDE (S Babu) took a fly jump and lost a few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S Inayathulla was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Jump Out on a Starting Gate Practice Day. Jockey Y S Srinath, the rider of BANDITO, reported that his mount was hanging 'out' after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Z Darashah was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of POINT TAKEN, reported that he lost his whip in the final 100 Metres of the Race. Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of MIDNIGHT LEGACY, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final stages of the Race. It was reported after the Race that MIDNIGHT LEGACY (Babu Singh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. T Natraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the Race that INDIAN PRIDE (S Babu) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. S Inayathulla was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. SAPHIRA (R Bharath) sustained cut on right hind fetlock.

Jockey M A Milan, the rider of SERIOUSLY PERFECT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing interference to CRRISP (S R Santosh Kumar), which, in turn, passed it onto DELTA DELIGHT (Shiva Kumar), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gate. Jockey N Tauseef Ahmed, the rider of FORMIDABLE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'out' and causing interference to YAMAS (D Gnaneshwar) on his outside, approaching the 1200 Metres. Jockey Md. Kareem, the rider of SPARK OF BEAUTY, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the Race. Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of CRRISP, was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course in the final 200 Metres of the Race. On examination of FORMIDABLE (Tauseef Ahmed), it was observed that there has been abnormality in fastening of Tongue Strap on it. Hence Trainer Mr. J Sharavanan was fined Rs.5,000/- for his negligence pertaining to fastening of Tongue Strap on his charge, FORMIDABLE (N Tauseef Ahmed). Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m HAPPINESS.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. V Lokanath to withdraw MICKEY MOUSE (Suraj Narredu) on veterinary grounds as it reared up and flipped over in the saddling enclosure, whereby it sustained head injuries. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g SOUTHERN EMPEROR.

As Jockey Mohammed Shoaib, the declared rider of MATHS BABY, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi (deputizing for Trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal) to substitute Jockey N Tauseef Ahmed to ride MATHS BABY in place of the declared rider. MATHS BABY (N Tauseef Ahmed) was slowly away and did not raise a fluent gallop in the first 100 Metres. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S S Attaollahi [deputizing for Trainer Mr. J S Dhariwal] was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar and Jockey P S Chouhan were questioned with regard to the running and riding of APPLEJACK. The Trainer stated that (a) he had specifically instructed the rider to allow the horse to run as it suits and not to either hustle or drop back; (b) position himself and ride out in the straight; (c) but, at the start only, his charge was hampered for room and had to be settled back; (d) after rounding the final bend, the winner chose to go on the inside and his charge had to be ridden out on the outside and (e) ultimately, it lost the Race by the narrowest of margin and, he would, therefore, attribute it to the luck of the Race and could not find fault with the rider. The rider, when questioned, corroborated the above statement of the Trainer and added that (a) At the start it was denied a clear run and it also dropped its bit; (b) He was at it throughout the race; (c) After passing the 700 Metres, he rode it out to the best of his ability, but, unfortunately, lost the Race by a whisker. The explanations of the Trainer and the Jockey were noted. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m RADICAL ATTRACTION.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad to withdraw SENOR SPEEDY (G Deepaksingh) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be lame on left fore due to inflammed fetlock. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. As Jockey Himanshu, the declared rider of PERSIAN, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav to substitute Jockey Vijay Kumar to ride PERSIAN in place of the declared rider. HILTON (N Tauseef Ahmed) was not galloping fluently from 1200 Metres till about 600 Metres. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. J. Babu Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. Jockey Babu Singh, the rider of HAPPY VICTORY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for travelling wide from the 600 Metres till the Winning Post, for no apparent reason. Jockey Vijay Kumar, the rider of PERSIAN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the Race.

COOL NATURE (Shobhan Babu) was extremely fractious at the gates and sustained deep injuries above both eyes at the Gates. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's Orders.
