It was reported after the Race that KAR O BAR (S Mubarak) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. PROST (V R Jagdeesh) sustained gum injury. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g ABSENCE.

Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu, the rider of ROSIE’S DREAM, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. G T Surender was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. GOLDEN NYMPH (Ajeet Kumar) pulled up lame, the rider having to dismount before passing the winning post. On immediate examination of the horse by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to have pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of RUBELLITE, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post. Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the rider of PRINCE OF ARGYLE, was reprimanded for dropping hands before passing the Winning Post. RUBELLITE (Afsar Khan) sustained superficial injury on left fore knee. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g JUST GREAT.

As Jockey N Ramesh Kumar, the declared rider of MAJOR ROLE, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to substitute Jockey N Ganesh to ride MAJOR ROLE in place of the declared rider. As Jockey M Kumar, the declared rider of STARDOM GIRL, was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the First Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to substitute Jockey Ajeet Kumar to ride STARDOM GIRL in place of the declared rider. BIGSTORM (M Madhu Babu) reared up and sat back in the Gates for a considerable period of time, got cast in the gates and the rider was injured and was certified medically unfit to ride. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Order. Jockey A Vishwanath, the rider of TIME MATTERS, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and taking out HAPPINESS (S Mallikarjun) on his outside, approaching the 500 Metres. Jockey S Mallikarjun, the rider of HAPPINESS, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing severe interference to the horses on his outside, viz., STAR AND STRIPES (Valdir De Sousa), LITTLE ATHENA (S R Santosh Kumar), MR HURRICANE (G Y Rajesh Babu) and MAXIMUM CITY (M Rajesh Kumar), rounding the final bend. Jockey S R Santosh Kumar, the rider of LITTLE ATHENA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not making sufficient effort on his mount during the Race. SKY DRIVE (S Mubarak) sustained cut on left hind thigh region. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from b g MR HURRICANE. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from ch g MAXIMUM CITY. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b m HAPPINESS.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M Bobby to substitute Jockey N Rajesh to ride FIRE VAULT in place of the declared rider. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge, FIRE VAULT (N Rajesh) [first infringement). Jockey Valdir De Sousa, the rider of BEHRAM, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to FORTUNE QUEEN (Nassar Alam) on his outside, passing the 150 Metres. Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the rider of SERIOUSLY PERFECT, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (second infringement). Jockey A Vishwanth, the rider of CATIONIC, reported that he lost his reins in the final 50 Metres of the Race, which he regained within a few strides. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu, the rider of INDIAN ROYALTY to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading, ‘USE OF WHIPS, in that, as the rider of INDIAN ROYALTY, he excessively used the whip on his mount in the above Race (fourth infringement during the meeting). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu. After deliberations, they decided to withdraw the whip of Jockey G Y Rajesh Babu till the conclusion of Mysore Winter Races 2012-13 for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading, ‘USE OF WHIPS’ on his mount, INDIAN ROYALTY in the above Race (fourth infringement). Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, gr f ALWAYS INSPIRING.
