Jockey F’co F Da Silva, the rider of PENALTY KICK, was reprimanded for coming ‘in’ and inconveniencing KUKANOF (R Vaideeshwaran), on his inside approaching the 600 Metres. REBEL STAR (S Mallikarjun) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future. Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of ATTATURK, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey K P G Appu. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey K P G Appu from 24- 11-2012 to 5-12-2012 (both days inclusive) for contravention of Rule No. 144(b) of the BTC Rules of Racing pertaining to the use of Body Protector on his mount, BLUES AND ROYALS, in the above Race.

As Jockey M.D. Praveen was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde to substitute Jockey G. Adarsh to ride RUBELLITE in place of the declared rider. TRUTHANDFAITH (A Vishwanath) accidentally brushed the false rails, approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey S John, the rider of MONEY BAY, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of NOUGHTSANDCROSSES, placed First, for “coming onto me deliberately in the last 250 Metres and bumped me, thereby, my horse was unbalanced and I had to make a rerun”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to uphold the objection and revise the order of placings as under: MONEY BAY I NOUGHTSANDCROSSES II VOICE OF INDIA III TRUTHANDFAITH IV MR SUNRISE V Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of NOUGHTSANDCROSSES, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing very severe interference to MONEY BAY (S John), on his outside, passing the 250 Metres. It was reported after the Race that ADMIRANDA (Vijay Kumar) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. TRUTHANDFAITH (A Vishwanath) sustained cut injury on right stifle.

Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge, BYZANTINE (Himanshu) (first infringement). Trainer Mr. Vishal Yadav was fined a total sum of Rs.2,000/- for using Cross Nose Band and Tongue Strap on his charge, BYZANTINE (Himanshu) without obtaining prior permission. Subsequently, Cross Nose Band and Tongue Strap were removed before the horse left the Paddock. Jockey R Vaideeshwaran, the rider of ALABAMA, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of MIYARSPRINCESS, placed First for “boring me throughout the last 300 Metres and bumping me in the last 5 Metres, thereby, I could not ride out and that cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and examined the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to uphold the objection and revise the order of placings as under: ALABAMA I MIYARSPRINCESS II AMAZER III SCINTILLO IV WINNING DESIRE V Jockey Janardhan Paswan, the rider of MIYARSPRINCESS, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and taking out ALABAMA (R. Vaideeshwaran) which in turn passed it on to AMAZER (M. Rajesh Kumar) on the outside in the final 200 Metres of the race. FAUSTIAN (J Paswan) sustained clip injury on right fore fetlock. Jockey M A Milan, the rider of ALIZADEH, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing severe interference to SCHOLAR (R Vaibhav) on his inside, passing the 1000 Metres.
