Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was observed to have sustained right tibial fracture and hence it was euthanized. LEATHER QUEEN (R Vaibhav) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and was observed to have sustained bleeding injury on left hind coronet. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. JACK O LANTERN (R Bharath) was examined at the Starting Gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer and it was found to be trotting lame on right hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. S Britto was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey M Rajesh Kumar, the rider of MR SUNRISE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to BEAUTIFUL DANCER (B Sreekanth) on his outside, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of NORTH CAPE, to the Stewards for careless riding [Rule No.161(i)], in that, as a rider of NORTH CAPE, he came ‘in’ sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside, viz., CLICK (G Adarsh), HAMSAFAR (Vinod Shinde) and BEAUTIFUL DANCER (B Sreekanth), soon after jumping out of the Starting gates. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last Race and examined Jockey P Kiran Rai and also the other concerned Jockeys. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey P. Kiran Rai from 17-09-2012 to 28-09-2012 (both days inclusive) for careless riding [Rule No.161(i)] on his mount, NORTH CAPE, in the above Race [permitted to ride work]. It was reported after the race that NORTH CAPE (P. Kiran Rai) burst its blood vessels during the Race. Trainer Mr. B. Prithviraj was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the race that the right fore shoe of GIFT OF LOVE (Mohammed Shoaib) had apparently splayed during the Race. It was reported after the race that BEAUTIFUL DANCER (B Sreekanth) pulled up lame on right fore after the Race. Trainer Mr. V Lokanath was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. GIFT OF LOVE (Mohammed Shoaib) sustained cut on right fore inside knee.

In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a race day on the race track. Jockey K P G Appu, the rider of GALAXY, was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming ‘in’ and causing interference to SEGOMO (S Chethan Kalay), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gate. Jockey G Deepak Singh, the rider of A DANCETOREMEMBER, was reprimanded for shifting ‘out’ and inconveniencing SMART EDITION (P S Chouhan) on his outside, soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SUPREME STRENGTH, reported that his mount was hanging ‘out’ after entering the straight. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again. Jockey I A Khan, the rider of MAGNIFIQUE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement). Jockey J H Christopher, the rider of ANGEL QUEEN, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the Race (first infringement).

Jockey M Ravi, the rider of EXCELLENT DESIGN, was reprimanded for shifting ‘in’ and inconveniencing WALTZ AWAY (D Gnaneshwar) on his inside, passing the 800 Metres.
