As Jockey Vijay Kumar, the declared rider of WHITEWARRIOR, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. T. Nataraj to substitute Jockey P Mani to ride WHITEWARRIOR in place of the declared rider. Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge, SHOWHORSE (G Adarsh) (1st Infringement). Jockey Shiva Kumar, the rider of LAND OF GOLD, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to RISE AND RISE (R Vaibhav)on his inside approaching the 1400 Metre. Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of RISE AND RISE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to SADDLER (Saddam Hussain) on his outside approaching the 1200 Metres. Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of SADDLER, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to RISE AND RISE (R Vaibhav) on his inside, approaching the 800 Metres. CASINO ROYAL (Afsar Khan) sustained bleeding injury on left hind sole. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g OMEGA MAN.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore to substitute Jockey G Adarsh to ride WILD TEMPER in place of Jockey Vijay Kumar the declared rider. It was reported after the race that MINCHU (I A Khan) burst its blood vessels. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey S John, the rider of BEHRAM, placed Second by the Judge, objected against Jockey I A Khan, the rider of SCIMITAR, placed First for ‘continuously coming ‘in’ inside the last 100 Metres, thereby I was squeezed along the rails and could not ride out and that cost me the race’. Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of BELLA COOLA, placed Third by the Judge objected against Jockey S John, the rider of BEHRAM, placed Second and also, against Jockey I A Khan, the rider of SCIMITAR, placed First, for ‘I was squeezed by both the winner and the runner-up, thereby, I had no room to ride and which cost me a certain Race’. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the Race and interviewed Jockeys S John, I A Khan and S Shiva Kumar. After deliberations, they decided to (a) overrule the objection lodged by Jockey S. John, the rider of BEHRAM against Jockey I.A. Khan and (b) Overrule the objection lodged by Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of BELLA COOLA, against Jockey S John, the rider of BEHRAM and (c) Uphold the objection lodged by Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of BELLA COOLA, against Jockey I A Khan, the rider of SCIMITAR, and revised the order of placing as under: BEHRAM I BELLA COOLA II SCIMITAR III GAME OF LIFE IV TIME FOR ALL V Jockey I.A. Khan, the rider of SCIMITAR, was fined Rs.2,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 100 Metres of race. TIME FOR ALL (A Vishwanath) sustained cut over right flank.

Jockey Saddam Hussain, the rider of CALDERA, was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing severe interference to SHAHIZAAR (Shivnath Paswan) on his inside approaching the 1100 Metres. Jockey P Mani, the rider of JUST GREAT, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to TIME TO TIME (R Vaibhav) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of GRIS RAPIDE, was fined Rs.1,000/-, for not maintaining a straight course whereby he allowed his mount to shift ‘out’ and inconvenienced TIME TO TIME (R Vaibhav), on his outside approaching the 250 Metres. ARABIAN MEMORIES (V R Jagdeesh) sustained injury over left hind pastern. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g PREZZIE.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. T Natraj to substitute Jockey G Adarsh to ride MUSKAAN in place of the declared rider. HEYDAN (Afsar Khan) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s Order. Surprise Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, b g MILAGRO.
