Results – Mysore

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to withdraw MR GENIOUS (Afsar Khan) on veterinary grounds as it fell in the saddling enclosure. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was reported to have sustained multiple injuries on both hock and withers. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey B Harish, the rider of LAND OF GOLD, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing interference to the horses on his inside, viz., OBLIQUE (S John), SOMEONE SOMEWHERE (M J Gautam Raj Urs) and PRINCE OF ARGYLE (Melvyn Maseyk) on his inside approaching the 1300 Metres. PRINCE OF ARGYLE (Melvyn Maseyk) sustained injury on right hind inside fetlock. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner, dk b g OBLIQUE.

NOBLE SACRIFICE (Ajeet Kumar) accidentally brushed the false rails, approaching 1400 Metres. GOOD COMPANION (Vivek) pulled up lame approaching the 400 Metres, the rider having to dismount. On immediate examination by the Club’s Veterinary Officer, it was found to have pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the race that MYSTIC STAR (Afsar Khan) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey S Mubarak, the rider of WILD TEMPER, was fined Rs.3,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. HIGHLAND VISION (S Mubarak) was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer at the Starting Gates and was found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s Order. Trainer Mr. Rakesh was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey Nassar Alam, the rider of HAPPINESS, was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course, passing the 1000 Metres, thereby, inconveniencing CATERINA (P S Chouhan) on his inside. Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of SCIMITAR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘in’ and causing severe interference to GRAND WARRIOR (Shobhan Babu) on his inside rounding the final bend. Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of GRAND WARRIOR, was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing very severe interference to SCIMITAR (R Vaibhav) on his outside rounding the final bend. The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that the left fore shoe of GRAND WARRIOR (Shobhan Babu) had apparently splayed during the race.

TIME FOR ALL (Amarpreet Singh) planted and lost many lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. SUGAR GOLD (Vivek) planted and lost many lengths at the start. It was reported after the race that GOOD SHOT (Irvan Singh) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was informed that he must not produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was observed that MANTHARA (R Vaibhav) accidentally stumbled and shifted ‘out’, thereby, inconveniencing SURYA PUTRA (M J Gautam Raj Urs), on its outside approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey R Vaibhav, the rider of MANTHARA, reported that he lost his whip, approaching the 300 Metres. An enquiry is being held into the relative performance of AZITA (P S Chouhan), the winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.44 of the Mysore Winter Races 2011-12, i.e., The Chitradurga Plate – Div. I (About) 1400 Metres, for horses rated 20 to 45, held on Wednesday, 14th December, 2011, when ridden by Jockey Samuel Fargeat, it ran unplaced. As Jockey Harish, the declared rider of RAPTOR FORCE, was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 5th Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey Afsar Khan to ride RAPTOR FORCE in place of the declared rider. Jockey K.P.G. Appu, the rider of VIGOROSO reported that he could not get a clear run soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates due to the crowding of the field. Jockey Noorulla, the rider of MISS RUBY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in sharply before passing the red marker post. Jockey K P G Appu, the rider of VIGOROSO, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement). As Jockey M. Madhu Babu, the declared rider of THE GAIN , was certified medically unfit to ride after his ride in the 6th Race, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Dinesh Pujar to substitute Jockey S. Mubarak to ride THE GAIN in place of the declared rider. REFRESH (Vivek) jumped awkwardly inwards and inconvenienced ARABIAN MEMORIES (Melvyn Maseyk) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates. MUSKAAN (N. Rajesh) sustained cut injury on right hind cannon. AAHANA (P.S. Chouhan) sustained cut injury on right hind hock.
