Jockey Vivek, the rider of SPIRITUALITY, reported that his mount was running green throughout the race. It was reported after the race that GOLDEN TIME (Melvyn Maseyk) pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. VIRAT (K.P.G. Appu) sustained 2” long cut over left fore tendon. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f SPIRITUALITY. Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was fined Rs.5,000/- for the discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge, YOU AND I (Melvyn Maseyk) (1st infringement). YOU AND I (Melvyn Maseyk) planted and did not take any part in the race. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in one Mock Race on a Race Day on the race track. It was reported after the race that FREEDOM FIGHTER (Amarpreet Singh) had apparently splayed its right hind shoe during the race. An enquiry is being held into the improved performance of UNIQUE STAR (Vinod Shinde) trained by Mr. Feroz M Khan, the winner of this Race, as compared to its previous run in Race No.46 during the Mysore Winter Races 2011-12, held on 14th of December, 2011,i.e. Bijapur Plate-(About) 1200 Metres, horses rated 60 and above when ridden by Jockey S Ramesh, it ran unplaced.

Trainer S Santosh Rao was fined Rs.500/- for failing to use tongue strap on his charge, SUGAR GOLD (A R Pradeep), for the use of which prior permission had been obtained. Subsequently, Tongue Strap was put on before the horse left the Paddock. Jockey A Vishwanath, the rider of SUPREME ARCH, was fined Rs.2000/- for shifting ‘out’ and causing interference to GOLDEN FLAME (M J Gautam Raj Urs) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey Afsar Khan, the rider of SWISS QUEEN was fined Rs.2,000/- for exulting before passing the winning post. An enquiry is being held into the dangerous riding by Jockey S. Ramesh on his mount AMIABLE LADY in the above race.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Rakesh to withdraw BREEZO (A R Pradeep) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting lame on right fore due to sprained shoulder. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
