Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Vikram Appachu to withdraw COSTAL EXPRESS (P Kiran Rai) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting to be lame on left fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S Santosh Rao to withdraw ZIGGY STARDUST on veterinary grounds as it was found to be trotting stiff on both fore. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. It was reported after the race that WHISPER VALLEY (R Umesh) pulled up lame on left fore. Trainer Mr. Feroz M Khan was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer Mr. T Natraj was fined Rs.10,000/- by the stewards for accepting his charge QUEENS CRUISE (Md. Sameer) to run in the above race without completing the legal formalities pertaining to transfer of ownership of the said horse. Subsequently it was permitted to be withdrawn. As Jockey Gaurav Sapra the declared rider of ASPIRING SEVEN could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement for the reasons beyond his control, permission was granted Trainer Mr. Bipin V Salvi to substitute Jockey M Madhu Babu to ride his charge in place of the declared rider. CARIBBEEAN PIRATE (B Srinivas Rao) jumped awkwardly outwards and inconvenienced CATAPULT (B Sreekanth), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. It was observed that saddle of CATAPULT (B Sreekanth) shifted back, rounding the final bend. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr. C D Monnappa was fined Rs.2,000/- for his negligence. It was reported after the race that CARIBBEAN PIRATE (B Srinivas Rao) pulled up lame on right fore. Trainer Mr. C V G K Kishore was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again. LAND OF SMILES (S Mubarak) - Was slowly away.

Subsequently, permission was granted to him to withdraw SOLITARY CHAMP from the above race. Trainer Mr. M Bobby was fined Rs.10,000/- by the Stewards for having accepted SO MUCH MORE (Vikas Tamang) to run in the above race without obtaining a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer when he had been specifically advised to do so. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to withdraw SO MUCH MORE from the above race. Jockey K P G Appu was fined Rs.2,000/- for coming in improper attire to the Weighing Room to fulfill his riding engagement for the day. Trainer Mr. Ranjeet Shinde was fined Rs.500/- for failing to produce the declared colours at the scales in respect of his charge, STERLING CRUISE (C Krishnan). Subsequently, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. Jockey B Sreekanth the rider of CLASSICAL DANCER was reprimanded for not maintaining a straight course during the early part of the race, thereby inconveniencing SECRET COMMAND (M Madhu Babu) on his inside. Jockey M Mahesh the rider of SNOB VALUE was fined Rs.2,000/- for completely easing his mount in the final 200 Metres of the race for no apparent reason. Jockey B Sreekanth the rider of CLASSICAL DANCER was fined Rs.2,000/- for the negligence pertaining to weighing 'in'. CLASSICAL DANCER (B Sreekanth) sustained a cut on right fore fetlock. It was reported after the race that SECRET COMMAND (M Madhu Babu) pulled up lame on left fore. Subsequenly, All Black emergency colours were permitted to be used. SPREAD A SMILE (N Tauseef Ahmed) planted and lost many lengths at the start and ran detached from the field thereafter. Jockey S Mubarak the rider of REAL MAGIC was reprimanded for shifting 'out' and bumping GREEN MIST (S R Santosh Kumar), which, in turn, passed it onto TIMELESS TREASURE (Janardhan Paswan), soon after jumping out of the Starting Gates. Jockey B Mahesh the rider of LOTUS POND was fined Rs.3,000/- for shifting 'in' and causing severe interference to REAL MAGIC (S Mubarak), which, in turn, passed it onto CHINAB (Melyn Maseyk), before passing the red marker post. It was reported after the race that TIMELESS TREASURE (Janardhan Paswan) pulled up lame on right fore. The Stipendiary Stewards reported trainer Mr. B.K.Narendra to the Stewards for not running his charge PARTY TONITE on its merits (Rule No.159(a) and Jockey Khurshad Alam for not permitting his mount PARTY TONITE to run on its merits (Rule No.159(a) & (b)) in the above said race. The Stewards held an enquiry on 29-12-2010, 5-1-2011, 15-5-2011 and 1-6-2011. They examined trainer Mr. B.K.Narendra, and Jockey Khurshad Alam. Considering the evidence tendered by them, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and acting on their own observation of the running of the race, the Stewards decided to (a) suspend the trainer's licence granted to trainer Mr. B.K.Narendra from 16-6-2011 to 3-8-2011 and refer him to the Stewards of BTC Ltd., for further action, for not running his charge PARTY TONITE on its merits (Rule No.159(a) of the BTC Rules of Racing) in the above said race and (b) suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Khurshad Alam from 16-6-2011 to 3-8-2011 and refer him to the Stewards of BTC Ltd., for further action, not to permit him to ride work during the period of suspension for not permitting his mount PARTY TONITE to run on its merits (Rule No.159(a) & (b) of BTC Rules of Racing) in the above said race.
