Peter, dr.9). Soon after the start, MOUNT SINAI (K. Nazil) shifted in onto LAGERTHA (App. A. S. Peter). Jockey K. Nazil has been cautioned. Approaching the 1000 metres, LORD AND MASTER (P. Trevor) leaned inwards on to POWER OF INFINITY (Dashrath Singh) who inturn shifted in thereby tightening RHYTHM OF NATURE (C. S. Jodha) in the process LAGERTHA (App. A. S. It was observed that App Kirtish Bhagat (CANDESCENT STAR) persisted with the use of whip from the right despite his mount drifting out in the straight as such he has been fined Rs. 2000/- for improper use of whip. It was also was observed that App. Kirtish Bhagat had used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his third offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2021/22, his Jockey’s licence will stand suspended for first two Race Days of Pune Meeting 2022 (Dates for which will be intimated in due course) (permitted to ride work/mock race) After the race, AIRA was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

MIGHTY THUNDER (Akash Agarwal, dr.2) jumped out tardily losing about 2 lengths at the start. In the final stages of the race ESPERANZA (H. Zeeshan) leaned inwards and had to be steadied. After questioning, Jockey H. Zeeshan has been cautioned for persisting to use the whip from the left despite his mount shifting in.

Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been fined Rs.1,000/- for coming late in the paddock to give instructions to App. A. K. Aniket and Jockey Raghuveer Singh as such delaying the start. Approaching the 300 metres, BAKU (T. S. Jodha) leaned outwards onto SPIRITUAL ROCK (Dashrath Singh) and had to be steadied. App. A. K. Aniket (CAMPAIGN) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2021/22, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been fined Rs.1,000/- for bringing his charges SKY HAWK, CIPHER & SCOTTISH SCHOLAR late in the paddock as such delaying the start. BETWEEN FRIENDS (C. S. Jodha, dr.7) was reluctant to stall at the start. In view of above, Trainer S. S. Shah has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. At the start, CIPHER (A. Sandesh, dr.3) jumped inwards and made contact with AHREN (App. Haridas Gore, dr.2). Approaching the 200 metres, HISTORIC (H. Zeeshan) shifted out under the whip and carried BETWEEN FRIENDS (C. S. Jodha) outwards. Jockey H. Zeeshan has been fined Rs.2,000/-. The Stipendiary Stewards will be looking in running and riding of BETWEEN FRIENDS and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, BETWEEN FRIENDS & CIPHER were trotted and found to be sound.
