At the start, ADONIJAH (N.B.Kuldeep, dr.11) jumped inwards and went across CIRCLE OF LOVE ( P.Trevor, dr.10). Soon after the start, IRISH EYES (K.Nazil) shifted in and went across KINGSWAY (A.Imran Khan) who had to be steadied. Jockey K.Nazil has been cautioned. Approaching the 1000 metres, KINGSWAY (A.Imran Khan) shifted in and at the same time PRINCESS SNOW (J.Chinoy) shifted out due to which MARLBORO MAN (D.R. Shubham) MARRAKESH (C.S.Jodha) who were racing between them, were tightened for room and had to be checked. Due to this incident, IRON THRONE (T.S.Jodha) who was racing on the haunches of MARRAKESH, was inconvenienced. After questioning all concerned, Jockey A.Imran Khan has been fined Rs.3,000/- and Jockey J.Chinoy has been cautioned. Approaching the 600 metres, IRON THRONE (T.S. Jodha) shifted out thereby bumping and inconveniencing CIRCLE OF LOVE (P.Trevor). On being questioned after the race, Jockey T.S.Jodha stated that his mount hung-out throughout the race. Since the colt had behaved in a similar manner in the past, Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures and report to the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race the colt. After the race, BLUE BLOOD was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, IRON THRONE was trotted and found to be sound.

SPARKLING GLORY (K.Nazil) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start. Soon after the start, LADY LANETTE (App M S Deora) shifted in and made contact with DILBAR (Hanumant Singh). Approaching the 200 metres, SUSSING (D.R.Shubham) shifted out under urgings and went across SERGIO (A.Sandesh) causing the latter to be checked. After questing Jockey D.R.Shubham and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs. 3,000/-. After the race, C’EST L’AMOUR was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. The Equine Hospital reported that SUSSING had left eye injury (melting ulcer near medial canthur – moderate) After the race, SERGIO and DILBAR were trotted and found to be sound.

On arrival at the start, BOLD ADVANCE (App.P.S.Kaviraj) was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. and was certified fit to race At the start, HAYDEN (Amyn Merchant, dr.3) jumped inwards and at the same time TIMELESS DEEDS (Dashrath Singh, dr.1) jumped outwards due to which THEODORA (App.Kirtish Bhagat, dr.2) was inconvenienced. Passing the 250 metres, PERCIVALE (Bhawani Singh) leaned inward and bumped FLASH FORCE (Santosh G). Thereafter, DHARASANA (A.Sandesh) shifted out and went across FLASH FORCE who had to be checked. Jockey A.Sandesh has been fined Rs.2,000/-. In the final stages of the race, PERCIVALE (Bhawani Singh) leaned inwards on to DHARASANA (A Sandesh) who had to be steadied. After the race, Jockey Bhawani Singh reported that his mount hung in despite his efforts. Trainer Altamaash A.Ahmed has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.. After the race, App P.S. Kaviraj (BOLD ADVANCE) reported the loss of whip at 250 metres. This being the fourth instance during the current Mumbai Meeting, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for 4 race days w.e.f. 11th April 2021 to 25th April 2021 (both days inclusive) (permitted to ride work/ mock race). After the race, BOLD ADVANCE and PERCIVALE were trotted and found to be sound.

Approaching the 1600 metres, FIRE N ICE (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in thereby tightening RUBIK STAR (Bhawani Singh) causing the latter to be checked and drop back, due to which MAGIC IN THE WIND (T.S.Jodha) who was racing on its haunches, had to be steadied. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been fined Rs. 2,000/-. Passing the 1600 metres, LA TESTE (S.Zervan) was observed to have stumbled and had to be steadied. In view of this incident, MAPLEWOOD (C.S.Jodha) who was racing on its haunches, was inconvenienced. From the 250 metres, MAPLEWOOD (C.S.Jodha) was observed to be hanging-in and passing the 200 metres the gelding went on to FLAMING LAMBORGIINI (Y.S.Srinath). On being questioned after the race, Jockey C.S.Jodha stated that his mount hung in despite his efforts. The Sr.V.O. reported that MAPLEWOOD was trotted after the race and found to be sound. The gelding was brought for treatment on 22nd March, 2021 at 1720 hours and was found to be sore from the left hind leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, FIRE N ICE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, MAGIC IN THE WIND and CABO DA ROCA were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, LEOPARD ROCK (P.S.Chouhan, dr.5) jumped inwards on to AUGUSTUS CAESAR (Neeraj Rawal, dr.4) who had to be steadied. After the race, AUGUSTUS CAESAR and KILDARE were trotted and found to be sound.

At the request of Jockey Santosh G. the saddle on his mount ARCTIC BAY was adjusted. In the process of stalling, ARCTIC BAY (Santosh G.) fell backwards and dislodged its rider. As such, the filly was examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified her fit to race. Thereafter, the filly refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts. As such, ARCTIC BAY was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order . Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. ZUCCARELLI (Dashrath Singh) and SELENA G (K.Nazil) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths and 3 lengths respectively. Passing the 300 metres, JOHANNESBURG (P.S.Chouhan) shifted out under urgings and went across SUPREME ANGEL (Neeraj Rawal) who clipped the heels of the former, stumbled and fell along with the rider. Also, AAH BELLA (A.Sandesh) who was racing on the haunches of SUPREME ANGEL was inconvenienced. Thereafter, SELENA G (K.Nazil) collided with the fallen horse thereby dislodging its rider. After questioning Jockey P.S.Chouhan and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for 4 race days w.e.f. 11th April 2021 to 25th April 2021 (both days inclusive) for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race). After the race, SUPREME ANGEL was observed to have a clip injury at the right fore knee. FULL OF GRACE was found to be sound in the trot. The Sr.V.O. reported that SUPREME ANGEL was examined in the stable area on 21st March, 2021 at 1945 hours and found to be bleeding from the nostrils. The filly is not to race for the stipulated ban period of weeks and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

At the start, SANDRA’S SECRET (App.P.S.Kaviraj, dr.5) was marginally slow and jumped inwards brushing the haunches of ISTANBUL (Amyn Merchant, dr.4). Soon after the start, SAFDAR (Shahrukh Khan) shifted out on to GOLD MEMBER (Dashrath Singh) who in turn shifted out and went on to GRAND ARCHITECT (M.Ayyar) causing the latter to be checked. Jockey Shahrukh Khan has been cautioned. Passing the 350 metres, ON VA DANSER (J.Chinoy) shifted in under urgings and went across LUMINOSITY (S.A.Amit) causing the latter to be checked. Jockey J.Chinoy has been fined Rs.2,000/-. After the race, GOLD MAGIC was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, AIRMAX and TITANIUM was trotted and found to be sound.
