After the race, IN IT TO WIN IT was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, GOLDEN ERA was trotted and found to be sound.

GOLD MEMBER (Dashrath Singh) was reluctant to reach the starting point, thus delayed the start. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to school his charge to proceed to the starting point before next accepting to race the mare. HOLLYWOOD PARK (N. B. Kuldeep) and VA BENE (Neeraj Rawal) were marginally slow out and lost a length each at the start. Passing the 1000 metres, ALLEGRIA (Bhawani Singh) shifted in starting a chain reaction due to which, DOWSABEL (App. Aniket Karande) was tightened along the rails and in an effort to check and change course, the rider lost his balance and was dislodged. After questioning Jockey Bhawani Singh and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. 28th February, 2021 for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race).

HAYDEN (N. B. Kuldeep) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start. Passing the 1000 metres, MARVIN (C. S. Jodha) was observed to have pulled up lame. On examination by the Sr. V.O. it was found that the gelding had injured its left fore fetlock and fractured metacarpal bone. The gelding was euthanized on humane grounds. Approaching the 600 metres, GILT EDGE (K. Nazil) shifted in causing CLASSICUS (App. A. S. Peter) to be checked. Jockey K. Nazil has been fined Rs. 2,000/-.

After the race, EBONY was trotted and found to be sound.

NISHK (A. Sandesh) was reluctant to reach the starting point, thus delayed the start. Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to school his charge to proceed to the starting point before next accepting to race the gelding. MIRACLE (P. S. Chouhan) was reluctant to be stalled and was loaded after substantial effort. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. At the start, CAPRIFLA (C. S. Jodha) jumped out level but was slow into stride. Soon after the start, NISHK (A. Sandesh) shifted in on to ARC DE TRIOMPHE (S. Zervan) causing it to be steadied. Jockey A. Sandesh has been severely reprimanded. Approaching 800 metres, HELLBENT (N. S. Parmar) shifted in causing MIRACLE (P. S. Chouhan) to be checked. Jockey N. S. Parmar has been cautioned. Negotiating the final bend, HEIDMAR (Dashrath Singh) leaned outwards on to HELLBENT (N. S. Parmar) who was steadied. Thereafter, ARC DE TRIOMPHE (S. Zervan) leaned outwards due to which HEIDMAR shied outwards and made contact with HELLBENT who was once again steadied. After the race, NISHK was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind cannon. HEIDMAR was found to be sound in the trot.

At the start, FLYING SCOTSMAN (C. S. Jodha, dr. 6) jumped inwards and went across RAFFAELLO (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 5) who was marginally slow to begin. Soon after the start, FAST RAIN (T. S. Jodha) was held for room due to a tightly packed field. The Sr. V.O. reported that MULTIENCRYPTED was examined at the stables on 8th February, 2021 at 12.30 p.m. and found to be sore by the right fore leg. The colt has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. The Equine Hospital reported that SOUZA had left eye injury (moderate ulcer).

At the request of Trainer S. K. Sunderji, INTENSE APPROACH was examined at 0930 hours on 05/02/2021 and found to be sore from the left fore leg, as such the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. KILLER CLOWN (H. Zeeshan) jumped out slow losing about 2 lengths at the start. FIFTY GRAND (N. B. Kuldeep) jumped out awkwardly brushing against its stall, losing a length at the start. Passing the 500 metres, WHO DARES WINS (App. M. S. Deora) shifted in thereby inconveniencing SUPER GIRL (N. S. Parmar). Passing the 100 metres, DESERT FIRE (J. Chinoy) leaned inwards thereby inconveniencing SUPER GIRL (N. S. Parmar) along the rails. In the final stages of the race, EL CAPITAN (App. P. S. Kaviraj) shifted in under the use of whip. App. P. S. Kaviraj has been cautioned. After the race, Jockey H. Zeeshan (KILLER CLOWN) reported that his mount hung-out in the straight. Trainer Shazaan Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt. The Sr. V.O. reported that ENDEAVOUR was examined after the race and found to be coughing and hence the gelding was scoped at the Equine Hospital and found to be EIPH Grade-3. The gelding is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, RAECHELLES PRIDE was observed to have a gum injury.

At the start, ARABIAN STORM (Dashrath Singh, dr. 6) jumped inwards and went across THEA’S PET (App. P. S. Kaviraj, dr. 5) and ARABIAN MUKTAR (Amyn Merchant, dr. 4) who were marginally slow to begin. Approaching 1000 metres, SALTBAE (Shrikant Kamble) leaned inwards due to which GOLD CREST (App. A. S. Peter) shied inwards and made contact with ARABIAN MUKTAR (Amyn Merchant). Thereafter approaching 900 metres, DIVIJA (C. S. Jodha) and ARABIAN MUKTAR were observed to have jostled due to a tightly packed field. After the race, DIVIJA was observed to have a cut injury at the left fore coronet and THEA’S PET had a cut injury at the left fore cannon. FOREVER FREE was found to be sound in the trot.
