In the process of being backed-in, DRAGONMOSS (Santosh G., dr.2) kicked the front gate of the adjoining stall of HI HO SILVER (S. A. Amit, dr.3) due to which the gate opened momentarily. At the start, HI HO SILVER (S. A. Amit, dr.3) and NUSRAT (P. Trevor, dr.4) jumped outwards and inwards respectively and made contact. In the final stages of the race, NIGHTFALL (A. Sandesh) hung-in despite the rider’s efforts thereby tightening NUSRAT (P. Trevor) along the rails. The Sr. V.O. was requested to examine the gelding and he reported that NIGHTFALL was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh (RUN HAPPY) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. The Sr. V.O. reported that FOREVER FREE was examined at the stables in the morning on 06/03/2020 and found to be sore by the right fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
