RETAINED ASSET (Santosh G.) was observed to have hung-in in the straight. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. The Sr. V.O. reported that GOLD MAGIC was scoped at the sampling yard and found to have Gr.III EIPH. Being a second time bleeder, the gelding is not to race for the stipulated ban period of eight weeks and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, ROMANESQUE was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind hoof. GOLD MAGIC was found to be sound in the trot.
SILVER STORM (Nirmal Jodha) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start. At the start, BEEMER (David Egan, dr.3) jumped inwards and made contact with REVELATOR (Nicky Mackay, dr.2).

After being stalled, FASCINATING (T. S. Jodha) played up in the stall. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. who certified her fit to race. Trainer Zadmal Singh has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. At the start, DESPACITO (A. Sandesh, dr. 4) jumped outwards and made contact with C’EST L’AMOUR (Dashrath Singh, dr. 5). Soon after the start, HER EMINENCE (Bhawani Singh) veered outwards and stopped galloping. Since the filly had behaved in a similar manner in the past, Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures and show the filly in two Mock Races to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting with her to race. FASCINATING (T. S. Jodha) was declared to run with poly-bonded shoes on both fore legs but ran with padded shoes. Trainer Zadmal Singh has been fined Rs.1,000/- for the lapse. After the race, MONK and PRINCESS SCARLET were trotted and found to be sound.
At the start, BELENUS (Nathan Evans, dr.3) jumped inwards on to CHEPHIRAH (Nicky Mackay, dr.2). At the start, COPPER QUEEN (Leigh Roche, dr.9) jumped inwards and went across MACAU (N. S. Parmar, dr.8) who was marginally slow to begin. Soon after the start, WARRIOR CLAN (A. Sandesh) shifted in and went across TURMERIC TOWER (App. P. S. Kaviraj) who had to be checked. Jockey A. Sandesh has been fined Rs.3,000/-. Soon after the start, JULIO CESARO (Dashrath Singh) shifted out and at the same time, TURMERIC TOWER (App. P. S. Kaviraj) leaned inwards thereby tightening and inconveniencing BELENUS (Nathan Evans) who had to be checked. Jockey Dashrath Singh and App. P. S. Kaviraj have been cautioned. After the race, MACAU and KANADARIO were trotted and found to be sound.
OUTASTANDING was brought to the paddock without a Tongue Strap, a declared equipment on the mare. The same was applied before the mare left the paddock. Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been fined Rs. 1,000/- for his lapse. THEA’S PET (N. B. Kuldeep) jumped out throwing its head. At the start, ABRAXAS (App. Aniket Karande, dr. 7) jumped inwards and made contact with OUTSTANDING (App. P. Shinde, dr. 6). Soon after the start, ABRAXAS (App. Aniket Karande) shifted in onto OUTSTANDING (App. P. Shinde) forcing it to be checked and dropped back. Thereafter, approaching the 800 metres, ABRAXAS further shifted in onto KALINA (P. S. Chouhan) also forcing it to be checked and dropped back. After questioning, App. Aniket Karande’s Apprentice Jockey license has been suspended for 1 day i.e. 16th January, 2020 for careless riding. Passing the 750 metres, FOREVER FREE (S. A. Amit) was observed to have brushed the rails and had to be steadied. Passing the 500 metres, MAESTRO (App. M. Ayyar) was held for room and in an effort to make an opening, shifted out carrying CHOO MANTAR (App. A. S. Peter) and SOLO MISSION outwards. App. M. Ayyar has been cautioned. Passing the 250 metres, KALINA (P. S. Chouhan) shifted out under pressure and carried OUTSTANDING (App. P. Shinde) outwards. KALINA ran sporting a Chiffney Bit without obtaining prior permission for the same. Trainer Nosher Cama has been fined Rs. 1,000/- for his lapse. SWEEPING MOVE was declared to run with bandages on both hind legs but ran without any bandages. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been fined Rs.1,000/- for his lapse. After the race, FIREWINGS was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, KALINA and THEA’S PET were trotted and found to be sound.
