VITESSE (App. M. Ayyar) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start. Approaching the 400 metres, HIS MASTER’S VICE (Nirmal Jodha) shifted out and made contact with RELENTLESS PERSUIT (C. S. Jodha). Jockey Nirmal Jodha has been cautioned. Passing the 250 metres, ARABIAN STORM (App. H. Zeeshan) shifted in thereby tightening VENGENCE IS MINE (Neeraj Rawal) along the rails forcing the latter to check and change course. An objection was lodged by Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of VENGENCE IS MINE (Placed Fifth) against ARABIAN STORM (App. H. Zeeshan, Placed Fourth). The reason being, entering the straight he was racing along the rails and ARABIAN STORM, who was two off the rails, kept intimidating his horse on the inside and in the last furlong took his ground due to which he had to check his mount and thereafter he came back again and this had cost him the fourth place since the verdict was a nose. After considering the submissions made by Jockey Neeraj Rawal and App. H. Zeeshan who was accompanied by Trainer Narendra Lagad, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards upheld the objection and revised the order of placing of the above race as under:- RELENTLESS PURSUIT - FIRST; RAPID GIRL - THIRD; DIBABA - SECOND; VENGENCE IS MINE - FOURTH Jockey A. In view of the same, Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned. Approaching the 400 metres, in an effort to make his move from the outside, HOPEILICIOUS (S. J. Sunil) shifted out. At the same time, STAR BRIGHT (Yash Narredu) shifted out due to which HOPEILICIOUS (S. J. Sunil) had to be checked and change course. Thereafter, STAR BRIGHT (Yash Narredu) shifted out and carried ARC SHINE (Amyn Merchant) outwards. Approaching the 250 metres, NEMBE GREEK (S. Zervan) shifted out and at the same time ARC SHINE (Amyn Merchant) shifted in thereby tightening STAR BRIGHT (Yash Narredu) and forcing the latter to check and change course.
