After being stalled, BABY FACE (Nirmal Jodha) reared up and hooked one of its fore on the front gates. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. VO and it was found that his left fore shoe had come off. As per the norms, BABY FACE was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. In the final stages of the race, SUSSEX PRIDE (T. S. Jodha) shifted out and had to be steadied.

GOVERNOR GENERAL (Neeraj Rawal) was permitted to be withdrawn on compassionate grounds. After the race, BRYNHILL and SHIP ROCK were trotted and found to be sound.

ETERNAL DANCER (App. Shahrukh Khan) was permitted to be withdrawn on compassionate grounds. After being stalled, MAGICAL BLOSSOM (D. A. Naik) played up in the stall. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. VO who certified her fit to race. Trainer C. Rajendra has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Soon after the start, BLAZING STEPS (App. D. S. Daman, dr.4) shifted in thereby tightening SHEER BELIEF (App.K.Nazil, dr.3) who had to be checked. Thereafter, BLAZING STEPS (App. D. S. Daman) further shifted in on to SHAHTOOSH (App. M. Ayyar) who in turn shifted in thereby tightening CRAY CRAY (App. S. A. Amit) along the rails, forcing the latter to be checked and drop back. After questioning, App.D.S.Daman has been fined Rs.2,000/-. Passing 900 metres, MAGICAL BLOSSOM (D. A. Naik) marginally shifted in on to SPARKLING THEA (C.S.Jodha). Passing 300 metres, MAGICAL BLOSSOM (D. A. Naik) shifted out on to EXOSPHERE (T. S. Jodha), who in turn shifted out and made contact with CRAY CRAY (App.S.A.Amit) who had to be steadied. Jockey D.A.Naik has been cautioned. After the race, App. S. A. Amit (CRAY CRAY) reported that passing the 400 metres his whip got entangled with the neck strap and fell. This being his second instance, App.S.A.Amit has been fined Rs.2,000/-. After the race, BLAZING STEPS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, MAGICAL BLOSSOM was trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, TENERIFE (S. Zervan, dr. 4) jumped inwards on to GOOD THING (App. S. A. Amit, dr. 3). Approaching 300 metres LORD COMMANDER (App.Santosh G.) shifted out under pressure and carried WIND CRAFT (Amyn Merchant) outwards. Thereafter, in the final stages of the race, SOUTHPAW (S.G.Prasad) drifted out and at the same time App.Santosh G. (LORD COMMANDER) was observed to have used the whip from the right due to which his mount drifted out. App.Santosh G. has been cautioned. SOUTHPAW (S.G.Prasad) was observed to have maintained an erratic course from 300 metres onwards as a result TENERIFE (S. Zervan) was inconvenienced. After the race, Jockey S. G. Prasad reported that his mount was running erratic. Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. After the race, ROCK IN RIO was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, GOOD THING was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and right hind coronet. SOUTHPAW and TENERIFE were found to be sound in the trot.

FAIR WARNING (Dashrath Singh) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start. Passing 400 metres, RENATO (Yash Narredu) shifted in due to which ORION’S BELT (C. S. Jodha) shied inwards onto SPIRIDON (B. Nikhil). Thereafter, passing 300 metres ORION’S BELT (C. S. Jodha) shifted out thereby inconveniencing LADY IN RED (Y. S. Srinath). Jockey Yash Narredu (RENATO) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai Meeting, he has been fined Rs.3,000/- After the race, FAIR WARNING and LADY IN RED were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, FROSTED (App. Raghuveer Singh, dr. 7) jumped inwards on to PACIFIC DUNES (App. Santosh G. dr.6). Passing 900 metres, RELENTLESS PURSUIT (Y. S. Srinath) shifted in on to KODIAC QUEEN (App. D. S. Daman), who in turn shifted in thereby tightening IMPERIAL HERITAGE (App. R. Ajinkya) along the rails. Jockey Y. S. Srinath has been cautioned. Approaching 400 metres, VENTURA (App. S. A. Amit) who was racing on the haunches of FROSTED (App.Raghuveer Singh), was denied a clear passage and had to be checked and change course. Passing 250 metres, BROTHERSOFTHEWIND (P. Trevor) shifted in and went across PACIFIC DUNES (App.Santosh G.) who had to be steadied. Jockey P.Trevor has been cautioned. Passing 100 metres, MASTER OF TRINITY (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in under urgings thereby tightening VENTURA (App. S. A. Amit) who had to be checked. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of ROYAL ECLAIR in this race and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, PACIFIC DUNES was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, RELENTLESS PURSUIT, BROTHERSOFTHEWIND and FROSTED were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, CAPTAIN (C.S.Jodha, dr.6) jumped inwards on to NAME OF THE GAME (Dashrath Singh, dr.5) who had to be steadied. Soon after the start, TOUCH ME NOT (App.N.B.Kuldeep, dr.9) shifted in under urgings, due to which WILSHIRE (P.Trevor, dr.8) shifted in on to TORETTO (App.Raghuveer Singh, dr.7) forcing the latter to be checked. App.N.B.Kuldeep has been cautioned. Passing 400 metres, CAPTAIN (C.S.Jodha) shifted out and went across TOUCH ME NOT (App.N.B.Kuldeep) forcing App.N.B.Kuldeep to check his mount. Jockey C.S.Jodha has been fined Rs 2,000/-. After the race, RICH N RARE was trotted and found to be sound.
