At the request of Trainer Altaf Hussain, DANCING PRANCES was examined at 1015 hours on 16/12/2017 and was found to be sore by the left fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After being stalled, LADISLAUS (C. S. Jodha) rushed the front gate in anticipation of the start. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. who certified him fit to race. At the start, ST. ANDREWS (Prashant P. Dhebe, dr. 8) jumped outwards and at the same time HARVEY (App. S. A. Amit, dr.10) jumped inwards thereby tightening LADISLAUS (C. S. Jodha, dr. 9). After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal (CAPTAIN COURAGE) reported that from the 200 metres he was denied a clear passage, as such he could not ride out his mount. After the race, LADISLAUS was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

At the start, RISHAB’S PET (A. Imran Khan, dr.4) jumped outwards and at the same time NEXTSTAR (P. S. Chouhan, dr.5) jumped inwards and they made contact. After the race, ROCK IN RIO was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. The urine samples of the winner of the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th race, viz. SILVER LOCKET, ALBARETO, EXCELLENT GOLD, CASTLEBRIDGE and YUTAKA , as also that of ROCHESTER and PERFECT STAR (7th race), and the special sample of BESHIKTASH (6th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
