At the request of Jockey P. Trevor, the saddle on his mount GLORIOSUS was adjusted upon arriving at the Starting Gates. PATAGONIA (Akshay Kumar) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. Soon after the start, PATAGONIA (Akshay Kumar) was inclined to run out and had to be steadied. Soon after the start, DRAGONMOSS (J. Chinoy) shifted in on to TIMELESS DEEDS (Akash Agarwal) who had to be steadied. Approaching 400 metres, TIMELESS DEEDS (Akash Agarwal) shifted in and went on to DAUGHTEROFTHESUN (A. Sandesh) who had to be checked. Jockey Akash Agarwal has been cautioned. Passing 400 metres, ARTUS (N. Rawal) shifted out thereby forcing GNOSTIC EYES (Amyn Merchant), DRAGONMOSS (J. Chinoy) and DAUGHTEROFTHESUN (A. Sandesh) outwards. Jockey N. Rawal has been fined Rs.2,000/-. After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (GLORIOSUS) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. In view of the same, Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt. After the race, GLORIOSUS, PATAGONIA, ARTUS and DAUGHTEROFTHESUN were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, NIGHTFALL (N. Rawal, dr.7) jumped outwards and cut across AZEEZA (Bhawani Singh, dr.8) and made contact with CENTAURUS (App. M. Ayyar, dr.9). Trainer C. D. Katrak has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding. Soon after the start, ARABIAN STORM (P. Trevor, dr.11) shifted out and carried IMPERIAL HERITAGE (A. M. Tograllu, dr.12) and KING OF KILLEN (A. Sandesh, dr.13) outwards. GREY ONE (N. B. Kuldeep) was observed to have trailed the field. Trainer Subhag Singh has been asked to ensure that his charge runs with the field next time out. Jockey A. M. Tograllu (IMPERIAL HERITAGE) has been fined Rs. 3,000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount. After the race, ARABIAN STORM, CENTAURUS and SHIVALIK SKIES were trotted and found to be sound.

At the start, NEXTSTAR (C. S. Jodha, dr.4) jumped inwards thereby tightening TOUCH ME NOT (Akash Agarwal, dr.3). Thereafter, NEXTSTAR shifted in and went across ALSACE (J. E. Pereira, dr. 2). Jockey C. S. Jodha has been cautioned. Soon after the start, ARC SHINE (Amyn Merchant) shifted in thereby inconveniencing SAFFRON FLOWER (N. Rawal), who in turn shifted inwards on to MONTECASINO (S. Mosin). Jockey Amyn Merchant has been cautioned. Approaching 400 metres, MONTECASINO (S. Mosin) shifted out and carried SAFFRON FLOWER (N. Rawal) outwards forcing Jockey N. Rawal to check his mount and change course. After the race, Jockey S. Mosin reported that his mount hung out. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt. After the race, MONTECASINO was trotted and found to be sound.

There was a double declaration of Jockey P. Trevor by Trainer M. K. Jadhav on AME and by Trainer Mansoor Shah on WESTERN LIGHTS in this race. After questioning all concerned, Trainer Mansoor Shah has been fined Rs.1,000/- for declaring Jockey P. Trevor on his charge WESTERN LIGHTS without his consent. At the start, ADVANCE TO CONTACT (Amyn Merchant, dr.11) jumped inwards on to TENNESSEE (R. Ajinkya, dr.10) who had to be steadied. Soon after the start, Q’E’D (Neeraj Rawal) shifted inwards and went on to PRICELESSGIRL (D. A. Naik) who had to be steadied. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned. Soon after the start, EAGLE SPIRIT (C. S. Jodha) shifted in under urging and bumped PRICELESSGIRL (D A. Naik). Jockey C. S. Jodha has been fined Rs. 2,000/- MONZA (D. S. Daman) was declared to run with bandages, however, the gelding raced without the bandages. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been fined Rs.1,000/- for the lapse. After the race, PRICELESSGIRL and TENNESSEE were trotted and found to be sound.

Mosin) and CICITALIA (Neeraj Rawal) were examined by the Club’s V.O. and were certified fit to race. At the start, HEDWIG (Akshay Kumar, dr. 5) jumped inwards and went across CICITALIA (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 4) who was slow to begin. Thereafter, HEDWIG (Akshay Kumar) continued to shift in and at the same time CEZANNE (N. Rawal, dr. 2) shifted out, due to which FRANZ FERDINAND (A. Sandesh, dr. 3) shied outwards which resulted in FRANZ FERDINAND and HEDWIG (Akshay Kumar) bumping each other and unbalancing themselves. Subsequently JIMBO (App. K. Nazil, dr.6) shifted in thereby tightening HEDWIG (Akshay Kumar) who was unbalanced and dropped back. At the start, WIND CRAFT (Kishore Kadam, dr. 8) shifted in thereby inconveniencing DOMINATION (App. M. Ayyar, dr. 7). Soon after the start, SEACRETS (App. S. A. Amit) shifted in and went across SPARKLING EYES (C. S. Jodha) who had to be steadied. App. S. A. Amit has been cautioned. Passing 700 metres, WIND CRAFT (Kishore Kadam) dropped back on to JIMBO (App.K.Nazil) whereby App.K.Nazil had to check his mount and shift out thereby forcing GREY FLANNEL (P.Trevor) outwards. Due to this, FRANZ FERDINAND (A.Sandesh), DANCING PRINCE (S. Mosin) and ZAMBIAN (App. Vishal N. Bunde) were inconvenienced. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and a riding of FRANZ FERDINAND (A. Sandesh) and a report will be submitted shortly. After the race, MERABELLA was trotted and found to be sound.

Trainer Mansoor Shah has been fined Rs.1,000/- for not producing registered racing colours in respect of his charge, SUPER BOLT. The gelding raced in emergency racing colours i.e. “ALL BLACK”. On arrival at the start, FRIBOURG (App. S. Jaykumar) was examined by the Club’s V.O. and was certified fit to race. After being stalled, RARE SILVER C. S. Jodha) hooked one its hind leg on the side platform. The gelding was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified him fit to race. At the start, LOCARNO (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 2) jumped inwards onto SUPER BOLT (App. N. Nadeem, dr. 1). Soon after the start, ROMANTIC LASS (P. Trevor) shifted in thereby inconveniencing BLITZKRIEG (App. S. A. Amit) who had to be steadied. Jockey P. Trevor has been cautioned. SPEEDO (App. Parbat Singh) was declared to run with bandages, however, the gelding raced without the bandages. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been fined Rs.1,000/- for the lapse. After the race, FRIBOURG was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. After the race, ROYAL SAPPHIRE was trotted and found to be sound.

At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, COAT OF ARMS was examined at 0930 hours on 15/04/2017 and was observed to be sore by the left fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race. At the stat, ARMANDO (Bhawani Singh, dr. 4) and TRAVELYAN (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 5) jumped outwards and inwards respectively and made contact. Thereafter, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Amyn Merchant, dr. 6) shifted in tightening TREVELYAN (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 5). Soon after the start, BAY OF LOVE (App. N. Nadeem) shifted in onto SIR SONG (App. S. A. Amit) who had to be checked and drop back. Soon after the start, FROSTED (App. Raghuveer Singh, dr. 8) shifted in due to which STAR SCHOLAR (P. Trevor, dr. 7) shied inwards and went across HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Amyn Merchant, dr. 6). Passing 900 metres, WILDHORN (Kishore Kadam) shifted in thereby inconveniencing ARMANDO (Bhawani Singh) and BAY OF LOVE (App. N. Nadeem). Jockey Kishore Kadam has been fined Rs. 2,000/-. After the race, FROSTED, ARMANDO and STAR ACE were trotted and found to be sound.
