TOGO (Vishal N Bunde) tightened STAR STUDDED (Suraj Narredu) at about the 250 metres of the race. Jockey Vishal N Bunde was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for the same. Tr. Rajesh Narredu when questioned regarding the poor performance of his charge STAR STUDDED as compared to its previous outing in Race No. 137 – THE SENTOUKI HANDICAP run on 14th February, 2026 stated that the gelding came back from 2400 metres to a mile race today, was travelling well up to the straight, after that it got interfered by TOGO at about the 250 metres, lost its rhythm and could not come back to the race. Other than this he could give any other plausible explanations, was noted. Jockey Antony Raj S (WHIRL WIND) reported that his mount was too keen as such he was unable to settle his mount in the initial and middle stages of the race and on entering the straight the gelding was hanging out. Tr. Vijay Singh was advised to take appropriate remedial measures. On the morning of 28th March, 2026, ZARAK was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be lame on left hind. Tr. S Waheed was advised not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer.

CASCADE once again arrived late to the start thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. As Tr. Vikash Jaiswal had earlier been warned and fined for the late arrival of his charges, he has now been fined a sum of Rs. 5,000//- for the same. AMAZE AND INSPIRE and VENENO were slow to begin. Tr. V Ajith Kumar when questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge QUEEN ANULA as compared to its previous runs in this season stated that :- 1. The mare had come down in class and running in a 21-46 race after almost 2 yrs. 2. The mare had run with better horses in the upper class this season . 3. His charge had developed gate issues in the last few starts and I gave gate practice with Jockey R.Vaibhav in barrier trials, which helped the mare to take good jump today. 4. I have given more than 2 weeks break for this horse which also helped the mare to recover well and do well. 5. In this set most of the horses were inconsistent performers and few came from lower category, which helped my ward to come out well as she had seen some best horses in her past. 6. The change of jockey also helped the horse to perform well as she ran well with him in Race No. 105 where she finished 6th behind FABLE who was twice winner in that class. 7. I was confident for place because of youngsters running along with her, but the mare ran an impressive race and I'm happy with the result. The Stipendiary Stewards not being satisfied decided to continue with the enquiry.

At the request of Jockey P Trevor, CIGAR GALAXY was re-saddled at the start. MOST AND MORE was fractious in its stall. JIMMY BEE was slow to begin. Jockey Antony Raj S (BLACK DIAMOND) reported that he could not place his mount in a better position soon after the jump out as the outsiders came in, was noted. Tr. Vijay Singh and Jockey Suraj Narredu when questioned regarding the running and riding of b g ANIGRAHA, the Trainer stated that :- a) “I mentioned to him that the horse is a little tardy in his jump so try and take a level jump with him and gradually get him into the race as when pushed to get his position he tends to get out of it. Sit wherever he finds himself comfortable and gradually improve and to do his best. b) In my opinion he was travelling well till before he came into the straight and got taken wide by the horse on his inside so instead of going wider he brought him in and rode him out but could not finish better than where he finished in the end”. Jockey Suraj Narredu stated that :- a) I was asked to jump and sit where ever comfortable, I was informed the horse does not have enough gate speed so to see whatever best I can do and come in the straight and do my best. b) My horse did not jump too well and within 3-4 strides IMMORTAL BEAUTY drawn 4 has immediately come in front of me and took away all my chances of getting into a better position and then the entire field was bunched up in front of me. So I gave my horse a chance to come onto the bit and find his rhythm. Passing the 800 mts I started to gradually improve my position and tried to come closer to the front runners. c) Upon entering the straight Jockey Varun on CLEVER HANS moved across me, taking me wide and I had to check my mount momentarily to avoid clipping the heels (which I reported). d) Thereafter we could not improve much and just finished there abouts. Their explanations were noted.

VIVALDI and BRAVE MAJESTY were slow to begin. The saddle used on VICTORIOUS OMEN (Imran Chisty) shifted forward passing the 800 metres when the Jockey made an effort to settle his mount which was too keen. In the process the Jockey could not give any assistance to his mount, was noted. Jockey Vinod Shinde (THREE LITTLE WORDS) was suspended from riding in races for the first two days of the forthcoming Calcutta Monsoon Meeting 2026 for excessive use of the whip (3rd infringement).

RAFFAELLO was slow to begin. CASHIUS GOLD trailed the field soon after jump out taking no practical part in the race. Tr. Sabeel Shariff was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two mock races. The Veterinary Officer was requested to examine the gelding and submit his report. There was a tightening of the field soon after the jump out when CLIFFORD hung in in spite of the Jockey’s efforts. Tr. Vikash Jaiawal was advised to take appropriate remedial measures.

Trs. Ritesh and Deepesh Narredu were warned for the late arrival of their charges PRICELESS PRINCE and LEGACY respectively thereby delaying the proceedings of the race. The trainers were further advised to ensure that their charges arrive on time in future. KADHAL was slow to begin losing approximately 4 – 5 lengths at the start. Tr. V Ajith Kumar was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial.
