SHIMMERING STAR (Dhanu S Deora) was extremely fractious and refused to be stalled. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. The Starting Stall Certificate has been revoked by the Starter. DANEIRA (App Aditya Kr. Jaiswal) and VALLERYSTHAL (A Sandesh) were slow to begin. Approaching the 800 metres VALLERYSTHAL (A Sandesh) was carried wide off the field when DANEIRA (App Aditya Kr Jaiswal) shifted ‘outwards’. At a subsequent enquiry App Jaiswal was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for shifting ground for no apparent reason. Further, VALLERYSTHAL (A Sandesh) making progress on the outside passing the distance post was inconvenienced when App Sujit Kr. Paswan (SULLIVAN) allowed his mount to shift ‘outwards’ when placing under pressure. At a subsequent enquiry App Sujit Kr. Paswan was shown the CCTV replay of the race and fined a sum of Rs. 2,500/- for failing to exercise adequate control over his mount.
