ZURVAN (Mohit Singh) was fractious in its stall. RED FURY (App Jorawar Singh) was extremely fractious in its stall. In view of its behaviour Tr. Javed Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. Soon after the start WAHACA (B Nikhil, drawn 5) and RED FURY (App Jorawar Singh, drawn 4) made contact with each other. Some distance after the start COOL HUNTER (Shailesh Shinde) travelling along the rails was steadied by its rider and shifted ‘outwards’ causing WAHACA (B Nikhil) and VERENA ROSE (App Hindu Singh) to take evasive action. At a subsequent enquiry it was established that KANYA KALYAN (A Ashhad Asbar) and WINNING FORTUNE (Shezad Khan) had shifted towards the rails from their outside draw i.e., drawn Nos. 11 & 10 respectively and on achieving their position along the rails slowed the field down causing COOL HUNTER (Shailesh Shinde) to be steadied. Jockeys A Ashhad Asbar and Shezad Khan were reprimanded and informed that should they continue to ride in a similar manner in future, appropriate action would be initiated against them. Passing the 400 metres ALLODIA (App Munna Alam) galloping at the rear of the field fell unseating its rider. At a subsequent examination the Veterinary Officer reported that ALLODIA broke its right pelvic/bone. Under the circumstances the filly was euthanized on humanitarian grounds. App Munna Alam was examined by the Medical Officer and declared unfit to continue with his riding engagements for the day. Immediately after the running of the race an enquiry was held with particular reference to the start of b f CACHAREL, ridden by Jockey Md Islam, drawn in stall No. 3. At the conclusion of the enquiry it was established that the blind fold on the filly could not be removed on time as the filly was fractious when the start was given. The blind fold was subsequently removed. Therefore, it was the opinion of the Stewards that the filly had not received a fair start and consequently was declared a non-starter by the Stewards.

As App Munna Alam was declared medically unfit to ride, Tr. R V Gowli was permitted to substitute App Zarar Alam to ride his charge AMORINO. HOME ALONE (B Mahesh) was fractious while being stalled. SERGEANT MAJOR (Vinay Jaiswal) was fractious in its stall.

ADANNA (Shailesh Shinde) was fractious while being stalled. HEAD HUNTER (Arman Khan) was fractious in its stall. LUCK LUCK LUCKY (Md Imran, drawn 2) and ADORA (Mohit Singh, drawn 4) made contact with GOLIATH (Sk Zaffar Riaz) soon after the start. LUCK LUCK LUCKY (Md Imran) ran detached from the field. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised not to accept with his charge until it was capable of a better performance. Jockey Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of GOLIATH, reported loss of whip passing the 400 metres. App Zarar Alam, the rider of ANNIE OAKLEY, was reprimanded for shifting ground ‘outwards’ for no apparent reason in the final stages of the race.

SIGNOR SASSI (A Ashhad Asbar) was slow to begin. Jockey Md Imran, the rider of MONSIEUR STRAUSS, was severely reprimanded for travelling wide rounding the bend for no apparent reason.
