b m ETERNAL INSTINCT, a declared starter in the above race was withdrawn as Mrs. Asha Jaiswal the part owner of the mare had failed to clear the racing dues of her spouse Mr. T N Jaiswal who is currently placed on the Unpaid Forfeit List of the Club. The race was held during a heavy bout of rain. POCKET QUEENS (Sk Israil) was fractious while being stalled. LEANDRO (Pintu Das) which was fractious while being stalled was slow to begin. MIDNIGHT MAGIC (P Trevor) was fractious in its stall. CHENNAI EXPRESS (App Zarar Alam) was slow to begin losing approximately five lengths at the start. Tr. Shafiq Khan was advised not to accept with his charge until shown to the satisfaction of the Starter in a barrier trial during the hours of morning track work. An objection was lodged by Jockey P Trevor, the rider of MIDNIGHT MAGIC placed 3rd by the Judge against Jockey Vinay Jaiswal, the rider of MY COMMITMENT placed 1st by the Judge on the grounds of “while I was on the rails approaching the 300 metres, the winner came in sharply from the outside for which I lost my ground and it cost me a certain race”. The Stewards after considering the evidence tendered by both jockeys, viewing the CCTV replay of the race and acting on their own observations, decided to over rule the objection. The Judge’s placings remained unaltered.

gr g FIRE FALCON, a declared starter in the above race was withdrawn as Mrs. Asha Jaiswal the part owner of the gelding had failed to clear the racing dues of her spouse Mr. T N Jaiswal who is currently placed on the Unpaid Forfeit List of the Club. ch g AASHIQUI was examined by the Veterinary Officer at 1.25 P.M. on the race day and was found to be lame on left hind. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Shafiq Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. The start of the race was delayed due to a heavy shower and the race was run in light drizzle. SIGNIFICANT (A Ashhad Asbar) was fractious while being stalled. PRINCESS THEA (Mohit Singh) was fractious in its stall. AITHOPS (App Rajinder Singh) was slow to begin losing approximately two lengths at the start. Sk Zaffar Riaz, the rider of GOLIATH, was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for excessive use of the whip (1st offence). Further, the jockey was advised to report to Jockey Coach Mr. P Alford for guidance in the use of whip.

JASSI’S STAR (Mohit Singh), ELUSIVE HURRICANE (Vinay Jaiswal) and WAVEAFTERWAVE (P Kamlesh) were slow to begin. Soon after the start MARILYN (App Zarar Alam, drawn 5) was momentarily inconvenienced when ARDENT N GRACEFUL (Md Imran, drawn 3) jumped awkwardly ‘outwards’.

YOKUMOKU (S Zervaan) and PARTY ON (Shailesh Shinde) were fractious while being stalled. FASHION ICON (App Zarar Alam) fly jumped out from the gates. The Veterinary Officer reported that PUJARIN returned with a cut injury on its right hind.

b g DINO, an acceptor in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Tuesday, 4th August, 2015 and was found to have developed mild colic and dehydration. Under the circumstances the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. H S Bath was informed not to accept with his charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. THE DARK LORD (App Jorawar Singh) and FITE OF HONOUR (Dashrath Singh) were fractious while being stalled. KANHA (P Trevor) was slow to begin. Some distance after the start VERENA ROSE (Arman Khan) travelling along the rails was checked by its rider thereby losing some ground and SUPER STRIKER (Vinod Shinde) travelling on its outside had to take an evasive action when ANNIE OAKLEY (App Hindu Singh) came in sharply towards the rails. At a subsequent enquiry App Hindu Singh was shown the CCTV replay of the race in the presence of Tr. E Bhungard and was fined a sum of Rs. 1,000/- for shifting ground ‘inwards’ when not sufficiently clear of the other runners. The apprentice was further cautioned that should he continue to ride in a similar manner he would be dealt with appropriately. WAHACA (S Zervan) was observed to hang ‘out’ from about the 600 metres of the race. Jockey Dashrath Singh, the rider of FITE OF HONOUR, reported that his rein slipped from his hand approaching the winning post. At the conclusion of an enquiry held after the last race by the Stipendiary Stewards where reference was made to the Stipendiary Stewards Additional Report of Race No. 5 held on 15th July, 2015 published on 23.7.2015, Tr. E Bhungard was fined a sum of Rs. 10,000/- for the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge b f ANNIE OAKLEY in this race as compared to Race No. 5 of the current season.

GENTLE KNOWLEDGE (A Ashhad Asbar) was slow to begin. On entering the straight DOUBLE DO (Md Islam) travelling along the rails was checked by its rider and lost ground when EVESHAM (Shailesh Shinde) improving very fast between DOUBLE DO (Md Islam), MACEDONIAN (P Kamlesh) on the outside and DESERVING VISIT (C Alford) further ‘out’ momentarily shifted ‘inwards’. At a subsequent enquiry both Jockeys Md. Islam and Shailesh Shinde were shown the CCTV replay of the race and Jockey Shailesh Shinde was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for forcing a passage between the runners. Jockey Ashhad Asbar, the rider of GENTLE KNOWLEDGE, reported loss of his whip passing the distance post.

TRIUMPHUS (Vinod Shinde) was fractious while being stalled. FREE ENERGY (C Alford) was fractious in its stall. AVIETTE (Shailesh Shinde) jumped out awkwardly from the gates. Jockey Mohit Singh, the rider of WORLD HOLD ON, reported that his saddle shifted back approaching the 600 metres of the race and, as such, he was unable to ride his mount to complete advantage. Tr. Jasbir Singh was fined a sum of Rs. 2,000/- for faulty saddling.

b h AASHIKAARA, an acceptor in the above race, was examined by the Veterinary Officer on the morning of Tuesday, 4th August, 2015 and was found to be suffering from severe utricaria (allergy). Under the circumstances the horse was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Tr. Ms. Arti Doctor was informed not to accept with her charge until certified fit by the Veterinary Officer. SEAFARER (P Trevor) was fractious while being stalled. SECRET BUILDER (Vinay Jaiswal) was slow to begin. gr g ANTONIUS MAXIMUS (Md Imran) which finished at the rear of the field was observed to be galloping in distress. Tr. Vikash Jaiswal was advised to get his charge examined by the Veterinary Officer and report ailment, if any. The trainer was further informed not to accept with his charge until the gelding was capable of a better performance.
