Jockey B R Kumar (CANTERBURY) was cautioned for shifting in soon after the start in the process causing inconvenience to VOICE OF A DREAM (P. Trevor). CARNIVAL LADY (App. Gaurav Singh) was slow into stride soon after the start in the process lost considerable ground. PURPLE ROCK (B. Nikhil) dropped back from about the 700 mtrs finishing the course distance behind. Explanation of Jockey P. Trevor (VOICE OF DREAM) that his mount did not show any turn of foot in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference. Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (HERO OF THE EAST) that his mount was hanging in, in the straight and was not passing the front runner in the final stages of the race inspite of his best efforts, noted for future reference. Trainer Laxman Singh while confirming the above added that his charge in the previous run covered lot of ground in the straight as such he opted to run in a 9 furlong race and based on the previous run he has fancied his charge but his charge has run in same style to its potential was noted for future reference. Subsequent Veterinary examination of mouth revealed that though the gelding has a sharp molars on both sides and was trotting sound after the race. CANTERBURY (B R Kumar) was observed to have sustained clipped injury over right hind. However, the colt was trotting sound after the race.

QUEEN BLOSSOM (Md. ismail) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths. N R I RUBY (App. Santosh Raj N R) jumped out slowly losing about 2 or 3 lengths. Jockey Md. Ismail (QUEEN BLOSSOM) was cautioned for shifting out in the process forcing out CEPHALONIA (B. Nikhil) at about the 1000 mtrs. QUEEN BLOSSOM (Md. Ismail) winner of the race is sampled.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (LAURUS) in the presence of Trainer R H Sequiera that his mount has soft mouth and in trying to settle his mount, shifted out and forced out COSMICO (Dhanu S Deora), EXCLUSIVE SPARK (Md. Ismail) and BLUE LABEL (Nakhat Singh) racing on his outside inspite of his best efforts was confirmed by Trainer R H Sequeira and noted. The Trainer was however, advised to take remedial measures before next accepting in a race. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though the gelding has sharp molars on both sides and was trotting sound after the race. Explanation of Jockey Kiran Naidu (THEO'S CHOICE) that his instructions were to make his run from the outside in the straight and in order to follow the same, he shifted out at about the 250 mtrs in the process caused interference to COSMICO (Dhanu S Deora) inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs.5,000/- for shifting out and causing severe interference to COSMICO (Dhanu S Deora). WOT'S UP JAY (G. Naresh) and SOORYA KIRAN (App. Abhay Singh) trailed the field throughout the race. Trainers Sk. Waseem Ahmed and K. Robin Reddy were advised for a better performance in future. THEO'S CHOICE (Kiran Naidu) returned lame on right hind due to severed flexor tendons.

SHUBHRAK (P. Vikram) and LIFE IS GOOD (App. Abhay Singh) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths each. ALINA (Khurshad Alam) was denied a clear run soon after the start due to crowding of runners racing in front. Explanation of App. Surya Prakash (ACROBAT) that his mount threw his head up as the start was affected thereby losing about 2 or 3 lengths forcing him to travel behind the field in the initial stages of the race and thereafter he did his best in the straight was noted. The App. was however, cautioned to be more vigorous in his efforts in the initial stages of the race to be well up with the field. Explanation of Jockey Kiran Naidu (ONCE I COME) that his mount did not show any initial speed as such he was unable to position his mount as instructed in the initial stages of the race and in the straight he did his best was not accepted and the Jockey was severely reprimanded for failing to position his mount well up with the field in the initial stages of the race. Explanation of Jockey A A Vikrant (ORIN SWIFT) that his instructions were to position his mount 3rd/4th, which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter his mount suddenly started dropping back from about the 400 mtrs and trailed the field inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that though gelding has a sharp molars on both sides and was trotting sound after the race. Explanation of Jockey Nakhat Singh (STAR MEDAL) that his instructions were to go to front and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering into straight and thereafter when asked for an effort, the gelding shortened the strides and dropped back in the final 200 mtrs inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the Jockey was fined a sum of Rs. 3,000/- for chasing the front runner in the initial stages of the race in the process taking long lead thereby placing his mount at a disadvantage in the final stages of the race.
