Results – Hyderabad

App. Gaurav Singh (ALLISTON) was fined Rs. 1000/- for shifting in soon after the start in the process taking the ground of ANGEL TESORO (B.R. Kumar). Explanation of Jockey Ajit Singh (ROYAL TIGER) that his mount was keen and in trying to control, shifted out at about the 900 mtrs and forced out ANGEL TESORO (B.R. Kumar) inspite of his best efforts was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 1000/- for shifting and forcing out ANGEL TESORO (B.R. Kumar). Explanation of App. Afroz Khan (RUN RUNNER RUN) that his mount was keen and in trying to control, shifted out at about the 900 mtrs forcing out SMARTY (G. Naresh), CITY OF WISDOM (Akshay Kumar) and GUIDING FORCE (App. Santosh Raj N R) was not accepted and the App. was fined Rs. 1000/- for failing to exercise greater control over his mount. Explanation of Jockey B.R. Kumar (ANGEL TESORO) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners which he could not position, as his mount got interfered soon after the start and again at about the 900 mtrs, as such he was forced to travel wide and at the rear end of the field until entering the straight and thereafter he did his best was confirmed by Trainer Sk. Waseem Ahmed was noted for future reference. Jockey Akshay Kumar (CITY OF WISDOM) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course in the final stages of the race. MY DREAM (Praveen Gaddam) lost its left fore shoe during the running of the race. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race.

Consequent to Jockey Deepak Singh having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Praveen Gaddam to be substituted on MAXWELL. App. Gaurav Singh (WAH MS ZARA) was fined Rs. 2000/- for shifting out soon after the start in the process causing interference to AYUR SHAKTI (Suraj Narredu) who in turn forced out JUST LIKE THAT (P. Ajeeth Kumar). Jockeys N. Rawal (SECRET COMMAND) and A. A.Vikrant (GIETHORN) were fined Rs. 1,000/- each for shifting out and in respectively at about the 1100 mtrs in the process causing interference to WAH MS ZARA (App. Gaurav Singh) racing in between. Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (SILVER SET) that his mount did not raise a fluent gallop throughout the race inspite of his best efforts. Trainer S.S,F, Hassan while confirming the above added that he has no plausible explanation to offer with regard to his charges dismal performance. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly sustained superficial injuries over both fore and also sharp molars on both sides. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race. AYUR SHAKTI (Suraj Narredu) winner of the race is sampled.

Consequent to Jockey Deepak Singh having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Praveen Gaddam to be substituted on BEDAZZLED. Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was fined Rs. 2000/- for failing to provide Owners registered colours on his mount STERLING KING (G. Naresh). However, the Trainer was permitted to use emergency colours " ALL BLACK" on his mount. An objection lodged by Jockey Nakhat Singh (GAZEBO) placed 4th by the Judge against Jockey A.A. Vikrant (UNSTOPPABLE) placed 2nd by the Judge that " he came in sharply on to me in the final 250 mtrs, bumping and taking my ground whereby by I had to check my mount resulting in me getting unbalanced on my mount and dropped back, that cost me a certain 2nd place" was overruled by the Stewards and the Judges placings remained unchanged. On a report from the Stipendiary Stewards that App. Rohit Kumar has ridden a careless race in that he shifted in on to DARSHISH (Gaurav Singh) approaching the final 300 mtrs, who in turn shifted in and crowded the runners racing on his inside resulting in severe interference to UNSTOPPABLE (A.A. Vikrant), GAZEBO (Nakhat Singh) and JO MALONE (App. Abhay Singh) racing on the rails, the Stewards opened an enquiry. The Stewards having noted the explanation tendered by App. Rohit Kumar in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards, viewing the replay of the race on CCTV and acting on their own observation of the race, the Stewards not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by App. Rohit Kumar, resolved to suspended him from riding in races w.e.f. 7th November to 11th November 2019 both days inclusive for careless riding under Rule 161 (i) of the HRC Rules of Racing. The App. is however, permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.

Explanation of Jockey Akshay Kumar (STARIDAR) that his instructions were to sit close with front runners and do his best in the straight which he tried to follow until entering the straight and thereafter when asked for an urging, his mount shortened his strides and dropped back from about the 400 mtrs and finished the course as such was noted. Subsequent endoscopic examination revealed as bleeder (Grade III). Trainer R.H. Sequeira was advised to ensure that his charge is certified fit by the Club's Veterinary officer before next accepting in a race.

On a report from the Stipendiary Stewards that SISCO trained by Mr. M.F. Ali Khan an acceptor in the above race was not declared to start thereby contravening Rule 140 (a) read in conjunction with Rule 142 of the H.R.C., Rules of Racing, the Stewards fined Trainer M.F. Ali Khan a sum of Rs. 5,000/- for having accepted with his charge when the above horse is under medication and subsequently not declaring to start. AAROHI (A.A. Vikrant) jumped out slowly losing about 5 or 6 lengths, SSC revoked. TOP SPRINT (App. R. Ajinkya) was trotting short on both fore. Trainer L.D' Silva was advised to ensure that his charge is certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting in a race.
