Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Kiran Naidu to be substituted on INCI. RIKKI TIKKI TAVI (A. Sandesh) jumped out slowly losing about 4 or 5 lengths, SSC revoked. Explanation of Jockey A. Sandesh (RIKKI TIKKI TAVI) in the presence of Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh that his mount was restless inside the stalls and also turned the head sideways as the start was effected, because of which he missed the jump, losing about 4 or 5 lengths and he was also forced out at about the 800 mtrs because of which he lost considerable ground and thereafter he did his best was noted. Jockey A.M. Tograllu (BLUE EMPRESS) reported that his mount was trying to run out throughout the race, as such he could not ride out his mount on an even keel in the process shifted out at about the 800 mtrs causing interference to RIKKI TIKKI TAVI and again drifted out in the straight inspite of his best efforts, noted. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the filly sustained bleeding cut injury over right fore. However, the filly was trotting sound after the race. Trainer Laxman Singh was advised to show his charge in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting in a race. Jockey Neeraj Rawal (HAILSTORM) was fined Rs. 3000/- for shifting in at about the 800 mtrs in the process taking the ground of ONCE MORE (Nakhat Singh).

Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey A. Sandesh to be substituted on GEORGE CROSS. MANDY (App. Surya Prakash) jumped out awkwardly losing about 1 length. BIG FLASH (Kiran Naidu) jumped out awkwardly losing about 2 or 3 lengths. Trainer D. Netto was advised to show his charge at the gates before next accepting in a race. Explanation of Jockey C. Umesh (PALISADES PARK) that his mount was trying to run out in the straight more so under pressure in the process shifted out and forcing out IKIGAI (G. Naresh) who in turn tightened GEORGE CROSS (A. Sandesh) was noted. The Jockey was however, cautioned to exercise greater control over his mount in future. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed that the gelding returned bleeding from both the nostrils.

Dileep having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Nakhat Singh to be substituted on COMPOSURE. MAN APART (A. Ashhad Asbar) jumped out slowly losing about 1 or 2 lengths. Explanation of Jockey Kiran Naidu (PALSY WALSY) that his mount jumped over the shadow at about the 300 mtrs catching him unaware due to which he got unbalanced in the saddle, as such he could not ride out his mount to complete advantage thereafter. As this confirmed our observation, and the incident being purely accidental, no action beyond noting the same was taken. TAKISHA (App. Gopal Singh) dropped back from about the 300 mtrs whilst travelling with front runners and finished the course distance behind. Trainer Laxman Singh was advised for a better performance in future. Jockey Nakhat Singh (COMPOSURE) was cautioned for shifting out at about the 700 mtrs in the process forcing out REACH THE HEIGHTS (App. Rafique Sk).

Consequent to Jockey Akshay Kumar not being available to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey Nakhat Singh to be substituted on INDIAN DREAMS. The equipment “ANB” used on INDIAN DREAMS (Nakhat Singh) broke at the starting gates, as such at the request of the Trainer M. Satyanarayana, the gelding has been permitted to be withdrawn before coming under starters orders. App. Rafique Sk (PRINCESS HINA) was cautioned for failing to maintain a straight course soon after the start. Explanation of Jockey S.S. Tanwar (ROSE ETERNAL) that his mount jumped out awkwardly in the process shifted out and tightened COMMANDING BOY (Kunal Bunde) and KHAN SAHIB (App. Md. Ismail) was not accepted and the Jockey was fined Rs. 1,000/- for failing to exercise greater control over his mount. Explanation of Jockey Prashant P Dhebe (ASTRA) that the buckle of the throat latch of bridle got loose on his mount and was troubling the horse throughout the race, as such his mount did not concentrate much in the race. As this confirmed our observation, the Jockeys explanation was noted. Since the incident was accidental, Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh was advised to be more careful in putting on the equipment on his charges in future. Trainer L.D’ Silva was questioned with regard to the improved performance of his charge CHINESE THOUGHT (App. Jitendra Singh) winner of this race, who finished off board in her previous race to which the Trainer stated that his charge was consistent in all his runs except the previous race as the horse has gone up in the handicap and also race being 1400 mtrs, as such he opted to run her in 1100 mtrs and also claiming 5 kgs allowance. The 300 mtrs less to travel and 5 kgs allowance claiming App in the saddle has been to his charges advantage and just managed to win the race. The Trainer further stated that he had not fancied his charge and was available at longer odds, noted. The Trainer was however, advised to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.

Consequent to Jockey Aneel having been declared medically unfit to ride, the Stewards permitted Jockey G. Naresh to be substituted on WINDY DAWN. Explanation of Jockey Prashant P Dhabe (ADORIA) that his mount suddently stopped galloping from about the 400 mtrs whilst travelling with the front runners and dropped back and finished the course distance behind. Subsequent Veterinary examination revealed as non-bleeder (Grade II) with eipglottic entrapment. . Trainer M. Srinivas Reddy was questioned with regard to the improved performance of his charge ASHWA ARJUN (A. Ashhad Asbar) winner of this race, who finished off board in his all previous races, to which the Trainer stated that his charge has run only 3 times with him before this run and after the previous run, the Jockey reported that horse did not like the Blinkers, as such he obtained permission for removal of Blinkers. The stepping up in distance from 1200 mtrs to 1600 mtrs, the removal of Blinkers and the change of Track has added to the charges improved performance. The Trainer further added that he has not fancied his charge because of the previous run but given a chance, was noted. The Trainer was however, cautioned to ensure that his charges race more consistently in future, failing which he will be liable for severe disciplinary action as deemed fit.
