The Veterinary Officer reported that MANALI was examined on 9th Feb 2022, at 11:30 am, and was found to be lame due to an Injury during track work, as such, was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Richpal Singh has been asked to obtain a certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race. At the start, LILLY BELLE (Jai Parkash) was slowly away. PRINCESS ELENA (K Sunny Kumar) jumped out awkwardly. Jockey Jai Parkash (LILLY BELLE) has been reprimanded for being feeble in his riding effort during the race and trailed the field. Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to ensure that his charge races with the field in future. Jockey K Narender Kumar (SMUGGLER’S ART) was observed to have relaxed after a good start and then made no effort to hold his position. As the mare was reported to be lame after the race, no action has been initiated against the Jockey. Trainer Rajinder and Jockey S Amjad Khan were questioned with regard to the running and riding of FARGO. The instructions were to be in 3rd position and to ride hands and heels and not to use the whip as the mare had come out of laminitis. During the enquiry it was established that the mare was fully fit to race and Jockey S Amjad Khan could not give satisfactory explanation for his feeble riding effort while negotiating the bend and in the straight. as such, he has been fined Rs.4,000/- for Incompetent Riding on his mount. After the race, SMUGGLER’S ART was found to be lame by its left-fore leg. Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race. After the race, LILLY BELLE was found to be sound.

Trainer IS Parmar has been fined Rs 1,000/- for failing to produce the registered racing colours in respect of his charge SHARROW BAY. The Jockey wore the Emergency Colours i.e. All Black. At the start, FUEL (Ishwar Singh) was slowly away and lost about 3 lengths. Jockey Jai Parkash (SHARROW BAY) has been reprimanded for losing his position in the middle stages of the race for no apparent reason. After the race, TESORO was found to be sound. After the race, SAINT was found to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of 8 weeks (2nd time). Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

Jockey K Nazil (ASHWA HAITHER) was fined Rs. 3,000/- for using whip in excess of the prescribed limit (1st offence) on his mount. Jockey Narender S Rathore (MASTER STOUTE) was fined Rs.1000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount, wherein he had allowed his mount to shift IN soon after the start, causing a chain reaction in which the inside horses viz. MISS ZACHARY (SG Prasad), MIGHTY (Rajinder Saini), SHIVALIK QUEEN (Praveen Saini) & RAXION (Riazuddin) were inconvenienced and steadied momentarily. Jockey Rajinder Saini (MIGHTY) has been cautioned for the tender handling of his mount. After the race, MIGHTY was found to have sharp molars. Trainer Ajay Sharma has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

The Veterinary Officer reported that BOB CHAMP was examined on 9th February 2022, at 09:15 am, and was found to be suffering from Colic and required treatment, as such, the gelding was withdrawn on veterinary ground. Trainer S Nawab has been asked to obtain a certificate of fitness before presenting his charge for any future trial or race. While being loaded, PEARL (Abdul Fazal) was extremely fractious and was reluctant to be loaded, as such, was withdrawn before coming under starters orders. Trainer Imdad Ali Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race. At the start, CUNCHO (Naresh Kumar) took an awkward jump and lost many lengths. Trainer Shakti Singh has been asked to give sufficient gate practice to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race. At the Start, SANDRA’S SECRET (K Narendra Kumar) drifted inwards alarmingly and went on to ANGELS HARMONY (SG Prasad) on its inside and continued to drift towards the inner rails. SANDRA’S SECRET trailed the field thereafter. Trainer A Khan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. At the start, BAGI (App Lalkar Singh) took an awkward jump outward and went on to JACK THE RIPPER (Dilip Singh). Jockey K Nazil (ASHWA KAHIRA) was cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount wherein he shifted IN and brushed ANGELS HARMONY (SG Prasad) near 100 meters. Jockey K Nazil (ASHWA KAHIRA) has been reprimanded for improper use of the whip wherein he had persisted with the use of the whip in his right hand as the mare was inclined to shift outwards. Jockey K Nazil (ASHWA KAHIRA) was also warned for making celebratory gesture before passing the winning post. After the race, SANDRA’S SECRET was found to have sharp molars. Trainer A Khan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. Jockeys S Amjad Khan (IMBALI) and Jai Parkash (EXCELLENT GIRL) have been cautioned for their feeble riding in the initial part of the race. ANGELS HARMONY (SG Prasad) lugged-out in the straight. Trainer Syed H Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. After the race, ANGELS HARMONY was found to be sound and had normal dentition.

Trainer A Khan has been fined Rs.1000/- for providing incorrect racing colours to the Rider of JOHANNESBURG. At the start, PONTY ROSSA (M Shahid) was slowly away. At the start, ASHWA CHINTZ (Muzammil Hashmi) and REAL STORY (Angad) made contact with each other. Jockey R Rakesh (NIGHT HAWK) has been reprimanded for keeping an erratic course under the use of the whip in the straight. After the race, ASHWA CHINTZ was found to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time). Trainer Sarfaraz Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race. After the race, JOHANESBURG & NIGHT HAWK were found to be sound.
