Jockey Md Farhan Alam, the rider of FANTASTIC HIT was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for shifting in approaching the 1100 metres causing interference to SPRIT OF ZION (C Umesh) who had to be checked dropped back and shifted out forcing out SILVER SEA (B. Nikhil), who further shifted out forcing out HADAR (C P Khanal). Jockey R Hari Krishnan, the rider of ATACAMA was reprimanded for dropping his hands well before passing the post. Apprentice Jockey Azfar Syeed, the rider of STAR CONVOY was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for excessive use of the whip. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that SILVER SEA (B. Nikhil) was found to have an Epiglotic entrapment on endoscopic examination on 22nd January 2021. Trainer Mr. M. M. Uthaiah was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner STAR CONVOY (Azfar Syeed).

Jockey Nakhat Singh, the rider of STAR TEMPLAR was fined a sum of Rs.1000/- for shifting out and forcing out PENANG (P.Sai Kumar) while negotiating the final bend. Jockey C Umesh, the rider of COTTON HALL was severely cautioned for shifting out inconveniencing PENANG (P.Sai Kumar) passing the 500 metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner STAR TEMPLAR (Nakhat Singh). The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that COMANCHE BRAVE (Rajendra Singh) suffered from Epistaxis (EIPH) during the race. Trainer Mr. R.Foley was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.R.Foley to declare Jockey R N Darshan on LORD OF KINGS to replace the declared Jockey Nakhat Singh, who could not fulfil his riding engagements as he was indisposed after his ride in the previous race. BRANKA (A M Alam) jumped awkwardly as the start was affected losing about 2 lengths. ROYAL PROTOCAL (C A Brisson) fly jumped awkwardly as the start was affected losing about 2 to 3 lengths. Jockey A M Alam, the rider of BRANKA was fined a sum of Rs. 2000/- for losing his position and dropping back from 900 metres to 600 metres for no apparent reason. Trainer Mr.R.Foley and Jockey R N Darshan were questioned regarding the running and riding of LORD OF KINGS, not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by them , Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of LORD OF KINGS was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for not making sufficient efforts to improve position till passing the 400 metres and Trainer Mr.R.Foley was cautioned as to future running of his charges. Jockey C A Brisson, the rider of ROYAL PROTOCAL was reprimanded for riding an indifferent race and cautioned for future rides. LADY ELISE (Stephen Raj) was observed to drop back entering the straight, Trainer Mr. Saddam Iqbal was advised to ensure better performance of charge before next accepting with it. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner CROWN OF STARS (S Zervan).

Jockey Nakhat Singh being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey R N Darshan on COPPER QUEEN. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. B.Suresh to withdraw STAR RANKING on Veterinary grounds, due to injury to the right fore tendon, Trainer was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it. Trainer Mr.R.Foley and Jockey R N Darshan were questioned regarding the running and riding of COPPER QUEEN, Trainer stated that his charge was better suited for 5 furlongs and has a short busrt and hence he had asked the Jockey to save her as far as possible before riding her out in the straight, however he stated that the Jockey should not have looked behind while riding out. Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of COPPER QUEEN was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for repeatedly looking back in the straight. Jockey Iltaf Hussain, the rider of BREAKING BOUNDS was reported to the Stewards for careless riding, wherein he shifted in sharply approaching the 800 metres causing interference to PINEWOOD (A Ayaz Khan) which had to be checked by the rider as a result of which VICTORIA'S SECRET (Md Farhan Alam) travelling directly behind received a bad check and stumbled. Both riders escaped unhurt,; thereafter passing the 700 metres Jockey Iltaf Hussain, the rider of BREAKING BOUNDS further shifted out forcing out QUEENS HALL (P.Sai Kumar) travelling on his outside. The Stewards after questioning the Jockey, viewing the replay of the race and due deliberations resolved to suspend his Jockey's license with effect from 4th February 2021 to 25th February 2021(both days inclusive) under Rule 161 (i) for careless riding on his charge BREAKING BOUNDS. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner BREAKING BOUNDS (Iltaf Hussain).

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.R.Foley to declare Jockey Rajendra Singh on WONDERFUL ERA to replace the declared Jockey R.N.Darshan, who could not fulfil his riding engagements as he was indisposed after his ride in the previous race. WELCOME CHAKKARAM (B. Nikhil) jumped awkwardly outwards onto WILD PASSION (Uday Kiran) and STAR PROOF (Azfar Syeed), both the latter received a check. The incident being accidental no action was initiated. CAPE COD (N Murugan) planted and took no practical part in the race. Trainer Mr. P.Krishna was informed to not accept with his charge till its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a mock race on the race track on a race day. Jockey C P Khanal, the rider of STAR WAVES was reported to the Stewards for incompetent riding, wherein in the last 400 metres he did not offer proper assistance to his mount and also his reigns were loose and dangling, whereby he lost the race. The Stewards after questioning the Jockey, viewing the replay of the race and due deliberations resolved to suspend his Jockey's license with effect from 4th February 2021 to 18th February 2021(both days inclusive) under Rule 161 (ii) for incompetent riding on his mount STAR WAVES. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner BUTTERFLY (Rahul H).

Jockey Nakhat Singh being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey C A Brisson on SUPREME COMMANDER. SAY MY NAME (C Umesh) was slow to start losing about 6 lengths. Jockey M Bhaskar, the rider of BEAUTIFUL PRINCESS reported that the saddle shifted back soon after the start whereby he could not do justice to his mount. After due examination of the equipment, Trainer Mr Ramanathan R was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.(1st Infringement) Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner KASI MASI (A Ayaz Khan).
