KING OF WAR (S. Hussain) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.V. Norton), which in turn passed it onto CLASSIC CHARM (Darshan R.N) approaching 800 Metres. Jockey Tousif Khan was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Tousif Khan and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Tousif Khan for Careless Riding. The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Tousif Khan with effect from 21/2/2024 to 16/3/2024 (Both days inclusive) as had he pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal. An enquiry is being held into the running and riding of THE PERFECT CHOICE, trained by Mr.Warren Singh and ridden by Jockey A.R.Pradeep in the above race. Jockey Inayat, the rider of LADY INVICTUS reported that he accidently lost his whip passing the 300 Meters. Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of STAR ADMIRAL reported that his mount was chocking in the final 250 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination. On examination, it was found to have burst its blood vessels (on Endoscopy - Grade IV).
