Racing Incidents

RAMBERT (Khurshad Alam) and TOPAZ (Neeraj Rawal) were fractious in the starting gates. AMBER SKY (Kiran Naidu) planted, lost few lengths, did not raise a fluent gallop and did not take any practical part in the race. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. S. Narredu was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in two Mock Races on race days on the race track. ALEXANDRITE (S. Zervan) was slow to move when the gates were released. Jockey Vinod Shinde, the rider of MASSIVE DYNAMICS, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing ALEXANDRITE (S. Zervan) approaching the 1000 Metres. Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, the rider of SPIRIT AND TRUTH, reported that his mount was inclined to lug in under pressure in the final 300 Metres. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g REFERENT. THE RACE WAS RUN IN A HEAVY DOWNPOUR. DUE TO HEAVY RAIN RENDERING THE RACE TRACK NOT CONDUSIVE FOR RACING, THE STEWARDS OF THE BANGALORE TURF CLUB HAVE DECIDED TO POSTPONE THE REMAINDER OF RACES.
